The Cowboys have invited to Texas Tech receiver Darrin Moore and Houston linebacker Everett Daniels to participate in this weekend's minicamp on a tryout basis, per their agent Garriett Blair.

Moore had 92 catches for 1,032 yards and 13 touchowns as a senior at Texas Tech in 2012.

Daniels recorded 111 tackles last season.

Moore a big WR 6'4" and very productive. Ran around a 4.65 40.

I think Moore is being brought in to try and convert to a HB. He has the height but needs to bulk up and increase his strength to do it (13 reps). He is probably a candidate for the PS if he appears to be making progress.

I think Daniels in camp fodder. He is only 5-11, 234 pounds and 4.80 forty.

Huh? Moore is a big WR. He isn't an h-back or future TE. He is an outside WR. Could be a decent depth option there but isn't an NFL starter. Has great ability with the ball in the air. Good hands and body control. Lacks quickness and raw speed.

Agree a possible PS guy this year if some of the other WR flame out or end up injured again.
