WR depth suddenly scares me

I wasn't even remotely concerned with WR depth until I started to think about it. After Dez and miles we have Ogletree and.....nothing else? Maybe one of these rookies will step up but man if Miles or Dez get hurt we are screwed! Not only that but it's nice to be able to run 3 WR sets and have your 3rd WR be pretty good, I'm not sure if I'd classify Ogletree as pretty good just yet.

The rookie Harris has shown a lot in camp so far. He's going to be a good 3rd/4th in my opinion.

Austin, Dez, Ogletree, Harris, Holley

That seems like a pretty deep WR Corp to me. The one thing I'll give you is that they lack veteran leadership/mentoring in the unit, but hopefully Miles is seasoned enough now to lend the youngsters some pointers.

Leong has looked good according to reports.

Don't forget we have Poots. Excuse me.

I would feel a lot more comfortable if I knew it would be 09' Ogletree and not 10' Ogletree. But according to camp reports he's been looking good so lets keep our fingers crossed.

Remember 07?

We went into the year with TO and Terry Glenn as our WRs.

Our backups were, Patrick Crayton (unproven) Sam Hurd, and Miles Austin.

Sometimes you just have to trust your scouting department.

I would venture to say that nearly every team will struggle if they lose their top WR.

Who do the Giants have behind Nicks and Manningham (now that Smith may be out)?

Who do the Eagles have behind Maclin and Jackson?

Who do the Commanders have?

I have high hopes for Harris but I am not a believer in anybody past Dez and Miles.

Very good points

Tony Romo has so many other options past Austin, Bryant, and Ogletree though. You've got Witten, Bennett, and Phillips at tight end who are all capable and Felix Jones/DeMarco Murray to throw to as well. Not to mention if we are somehow able to sign McClain (which I wouldn't bank on) then he'd be another big threat.

Harris is #3 - because he is a chain mover

Olgetee is *4 - has speed but suspect hands an attititude

Radway #5 - almost everyone is talking about this kid - think he might be Austins or Dez replacement if either get hurt

Leong #6 - talking about this kid also

I see no worry

plus we have M Johnson
Holley
Ryan

I am not worried one bit about the WR corp

Also don't forget to factor Coach Robinson, assuming he is OK from that hit he took the other day. He can turn average talent into stars.
