Things just went form back to much worse for Lucky Whitehead.
After being released by the Dallas Cowboys amid reports of an arrest warrant stemming from a petty larceny summons issued on June 22, it turns out Whitehead was a victim of identity theft. The damage was already done, however, and he was left looking for a new NFL home. He found it in the New York Jets, with the potential of moving up their depth chart due to both injury and overall lack of talent.
Those plans have been scrapped for the foreseeable future, however, after the veteran wide receiver suffered a broken foot in practice.
