I'm not really excited about any of the 1st rd WR's, but he might be the lone WR I'd use a 1st on or consider trading up a few spots to get

Might as well bring him in, although I've never seen a kid so agile in his avoidance of pre-draft workouts.

The kid is a playmaker, no doubt about it. I would love to get him. I think right now is the prefect time to look at a highly touted WR because he would come into a situation where the team would not look to him to carry the WR core.

What about Sweed??

Sweed is very good as well, I think Sweed last a bit longer on draft day than Kelly so I see Sweed as an option for the Cowboys

Would rather have Kelly over Sweed any day. But who knows what will become of the two once they are in the pros.

Something about sweed just never impressed me.

as long as we don't draft a 5-11 or 5-10 or even just a 6-0 WR.....then im all for it

because when you get small WR's

1)they can get hurt real easily

2)without separation, they are pretty much useless

unless we get a TG without injuries, then i don't want him

no joke, I've watched Sweed his whole career at UT being from TX...

Sweed is just a Roy Williams clone with half the talent IMO...

from what I've heard about his work ethic, I'd just as soon pass him up. He could however make a good target for VY in Tenn.

He is the only WR in the draft I would use a #1 on. The Hardy kid looks to be pretty darn good also.

That's too bad it has to be one of our "official" 30 visits... I thought being from Longview, he might qualify for Dallas Day. Wasn't sure what the radius from the home team was.

I'm glad we're checking into him although I'm not sold on him.

:starspin I feel the same way, I'd be very happy to get him although I think he'll be gone before we had a chance to pick him. He could come in and not feel that he has to carry the load right away, but whether it's him or someone else, I feel we need to bring in a WR with one of our fairly early picks because I'm not sold on the young WRs we currently have on the team.

Wasn't Kelly injured and that's why he didn't workout at the pro day? Also, there's been talk about Sweed's wrist. Apparently it's injured. But, you know how those tea sippers are in Austin. They're all limp wristed.

I don't like anyone who does not participate in pre draft work out. It usually means you got something to hide or you believe you are soooo good that you don't have to prove anything to anyone. Regardless, just based on these things, I won't draft him until the 3rd round.

Imagine a kid with attitude without money..........now with $$$. No thankyou.

I base my opinion on his seasons of play not some workout during the off-season.
