in the last few minutes. The Steelers were playing the patented cowboys D, 15 yards off RW and TO. They should be grumbling, the las 5 minutes were absolutely pathetic.

Yeah. They were giving TO a 10-15 yard cushion. Romo should have recognized it and thrown it to him.

But I thought they kept forcing it it TO?!? But I thought they wanted to keep massaging #81's fragile ego?!?

Oh never mind...:bang2:

I guess you would be missing open receivers too if the winds were blowing and you were facing a relentless pass rush.

People act like it was sunny with no breeze, and the offensive line was blocking like this was the Cleveland game.

This game shouldn't have been about passing the ball. It should have been about running the ball. You know trusting those multimillion dollar linemen we signed and trusting our scouts who believed Tashard Choice was an Emmitt-lite.

The kid was doing well. Why not ride him to victory? It's not like he was being overused.

The Montrae Holland injury may have hurt us-we weren't running the ball nearly as well with Procter in there.

Besides-we need Barber BACK-2 running backs would have helped us tremendously today.

I would rather have them try a pass on 1st down instead of giving Choice his 2 yds a pop in the 4th. They knew we were trying to run the clock down, and we did nothing to dispel them of that notion.

The FWST beat writers, in their blog, said our recievers/te's were wide open ALL DAY...and Romo consistently made the wrong read. The Bennett miss is the obvious one, but it was some of their opinions that this was tony romos worst game as a starting nfl qb

The worst part is that he had time on a bunch of his throws. It seemed like he read the Steelers press clippings all week and got rattled. It would have been a great game if the Steelers truly earned the victory, but I can't stand that we really just gave it away.

I wouldn't doubt that from what I saw.

that miss on Bennett. Bennett had nothing but green in front of him. IMO, more proof that this loss really is squarely on Romo's shoulders.

Whether he's over thinking or has no confidence in guys, I dunno, but he needs to flush his brain out of his butt and just play ball the way we know he can play.

are you kidding? Choice was gassed and the Steelers knew what was coming. That is when your o-coordinator and you other highly compensated playmakers on offense need to earn their money

Yeah, that's why i thought the injury and time off might in some weird way help, so Romo could...as you say, flush his brain outta his butt. But our old thin skinned pouty toddler Tony is back. As Jedi and great as he can be...he kills us. I am starting to think, with all the talent on this team, and old BP "busdriver" would serve this team better, b/c Romo is single handily losing games for this team. Trade a 2nd, 2 3rds, and a 5th to move up to 9 and draft Tebow??? (kidding...kind of...)

And did you see how much trouble Tony Romo had throwing the ball?

You have to know your quarterback and have a sense for what's going on in the game, especially if he's struggling.

And how do you know Choice was gassed?

Did he say so in a post-game interview?

I don't know. But I'm not introducing the fact he was tired.

Besides, you don't introduce something for which you have no evidence.

He was still in the game wasn't he? If so, then he must not have been all that tired.

He wasn't running with the same energy like he was in the 1st half.

No wonder why more teams use 2 running backs now.

How do you deduce that?

Could it have been that the field was bad?

Could it have been that we weren't getting good blocking?

Could it have been he was just picking up fewer yards than before?

It's a considerable leap to say he was "tired" without any evidence to support that claim.

Second point, I'm sorry, but didn't his long runs come in the second half?

He did better in the second half than he did in the first.

I honestly think it was the field. I think sharp cuts (thus to us, what looked like energy) were very difficult and the fact that there was a slowing down, just was a result of necessary adjustments.

He was slipping a lot. There was evidence of that occurring. I guess I was "attacking" the "he was tired" argument. I didn't hear anything to support that.

Anyway, the game is over. Enough venting.

On to beating the Giants. :D
