it is to bad Stone Cold cannot wrestle anymore.....I would love to have him in a match at Wrestlemania.

He was always enjoyable, though I think I enjoy his mic work more than the in ring work (not saying the in ring work is bad at all). Also always enjoyed Nash back in the WCW NWO days, when he'd just come out, lean on the top rope and start talking. Too bad every time he comes back to the WWE the just have him stick to script and talk angry in the mic. Quite boring. Those 2 were always a couple of my favorites to listen to.

The crowd still loves it when Stone Cold makes the occasional appearance, drinks some foam/beer and drops a stunner or 2.

Yep they still love him because at the height of his popularity he was quite likely the most over guy ever.

before you comment watch

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he has watched.

As did I and it's why I also didn't agree with you that it's been gold or anything close to that.

It's definately been better but it's not been spectacular in any way.

But, again, I do love Roode as the champion and I love how that's going.

I've tried the last month or so. Pretty brutal.

Which aspects do you not enjoy? The show is excellent from top to bottom, Austin Aries is golden. Robert Roode is the best thing going. Sting is amazing as an authority figure. Angle, Styles etc; are as always on. Jeff Hardy is performing better than he ever has. Bully Ray is the best promo guy in the industry.

What more could you possibly expect?

I agree with you on Roode and I do like Aries. Good stuff from both.

Angle and Styles have just grown very stale for me. I just can't really enjoy much of what either are doing at this point.

Jeff Hardy sucks, IMO, but he's always sucked IMO to anyone outside of the handful of teenage boys who find him cool and the teenage girls who, well, are teenage girls.

Sting is...eh. He's ok in the role. He's not great but he's not terrible. He's watchable in the role, much better than Hogan IMO in that role. So it's a good move there.

Bully Ray the best promo guy? Hardly. I love the push he's getting, and I think he's vastly improved as a singles guy over where he once was but best promo guy? Not even close. Hell he's not even the best promo guy on his own show.

Roode is better.

Sting is better.

Punk and Jericho are miles and miles better than Bully Ray ever has been or ever will be when it comes to promos.

I like his direction, and he's doing a solid job, but lets no overstate his ability here.

Overall the show is better than it was 6 months ago. It seems to be slowly moving to a better direction. The question is how long will it be allowed to do that before something stupid happens, cause things aren't happening fast enough for the people in charge, and they screw it up by doing what they've always done? That will be the big thing for them.

Also, on a side note that wasn't mentioned here, I'm actually starting to like James Storm as a singles guy as well. He seems to be doing better and better.

Bully has gotten himself into good shape, he has the look of a main eventer and weekly he has 5* promos. This is a case where you can say TNA was right in putting him in the main event, quiet a shame looking back he was misused his entire career. He could have main evented Wrestlemanias with the skill set he has shown recently.

Angles #1 concern is the Olympics right now, when he is in the ring he is still ace. Styles current program is stale with Kaz-Daniels however the matches have been excellent.

Aries is the future flag-bearer for TNA. He has it all and then some.

James Storm really impressed me, I was afraid that ending Beer Money would result in Storm becoming a non-factor but he has stepped up and become a major player as a singles star.

I am afraid WWE will make a run at Roode when his contract is up. Very few people have received public praise from the people he has. If he ends up in WWE they will give him some stupid name "Bobby McSouth" and he will be jobbing within 6 months, it is Vince's way.

Yeah I had the same worry about Storm. I just knew that him being dropped from yet another big time team was going to end him. He's really stepped up.

Angle is trying to be in the Olympics again? I don't see it happening.

Aries I'm a fan of. I always liked him in ROH as well.

I think WWE will, and should, make a run at Roode. He's great. I don't know that they'll go with a stupid name like that. For some reason i envision them pushing him as a relative, of some sort, of Rick Rude and going with that. That's just what comes to mind when I think of him maybe being in WWE.

I think he's big enough and definately good enough in the ring and on the mic that he'd find no trouble being a big part of the WWE upper card and Main Event for a very long time.

And Bubba definately is in great shape. Everytime I see him you can tell he's been working really hard to lose weight and it's really helped him in the ring. He's definately very good on the mic, but then I always felt he was very good on the mic. I just don't think he's the best in the entire industry on the mic and he never has been.

He's great but I'd take promos from Angle, Jericho, Punk, Roode, and Orton over him any day of the week.

I still am happy to see him working his butt off and getting rewarded for it cause I've been a big fan of him since the very first days of The Dudleys in ECW.

This thread reminds me that I recently met Edge who is going into the WWE HOF in a few weeks.

One of the most down to earth people you ever want to meet. I had no idea about the HOF stuff. Just talked with him about his ink and it led to other conversation. He was a lot smaller than I ever expected but the ink was undeniable.

I will probably watch, but I don't follow it much these days.

That picture is a bit old my good man. He doesn't sort Team 3d stuff anymore from what I've seen and he's slimmed down from this.

He's a solid character who I have zero trouble having in a main event cause he wrestles decently and can work the mic well.

Could you show me a new one where he looks like a main eventer.

I love the Dudley boys ....... but they are not singles main eventers in a real promotion.

I don't have a current picture of him on hand, nor do I know what constitutes 'looking' like a main eventer.

I'll have to simply respectfully disagree with you on this one. He definately is a credible main eventer, in any promotion.

I'd take him over Bryan Danielson any day of the week. Bryan bores the piss out of me. He's terrible on the mic.

And while i like Sheamus, a lot, I'd definately rather have Dudley than Sheamus as one of my main eventers.

That's just me I guess.

Bully Ray has been awesome lately. Better than Danielson? Never. But he's been good and entertaining.

I'm weird in that I don't care for wrestlers much who can't talk. Danielson is as boring as there is on the mic. He's terrible to have to listen to.

Only John Laurenitis currently bores me more in the WWE when he opens his mouth.

No doubt. Add any number of guys to that list. Miz, Truth, Cena, Kane, etc..

Two words:

Austin Aries.

Guy is the friggin man.

Danielson is better in the ring no doubt. Bully wipes the floor with him on the mic. Very tough choice between the two on who I would pick if I had to choose one.

Boom. You got that right. He is very quickly rising up my favorites, he will probably overtake Styles by the end of the year at this rate. Everything he does is perfection.
