Wright is a liability

No way he should make the roster but given how the team drafted him in the THIRD freaking round you know they won’t cut him. And we can’t even trade him. DQ is pretty much the only dude that wants a 6’4 corner.
liability for what 3rd 4th string depth..lmao some of you need to have your meds revaluated. Wright IS not on the radar so hes not a liability. ill let seasoned coaches decide who comes and goes , we just watch bro..get over yourself has nothing to do with him being in the 3rd round or undrafted, they will allow him time to develop or bust.

DQ picked the starters last year, none i dont believe are 6';4 get over it..

He's where he's supposed to be.

My beef is with the safeties. Coyle had a good series. He even forced a punt with his play.

But he has to anticipate the pass quicker if he's going to play the deep ball. Otherwise, it's pointless to have a safety over the top.

I also don't think Wright is a liability, per se. He's a young player. He was man up on some players, which isn't really a fair ask of any of these guys. And he didn't get any real help from the safeties. The problem, as far as I can tell, was with the safeties more than the corners. They're going to get beat, and Wright at least forced them to beat him with precision.
Bland outplayed Joseph and that should concern fans. He's not where he should be.

Based upon the information that I've seen about Wright and Joseph, also, they aren't performing quite as well as they should. I wouldn't be too surprised if they're on the bubble but that's a story for another day. Hopefully, they'll improve their performance soon. Other than that, being waived when the final cuts come up wouldn't be out of the question.

What information?

Have you watched the game?

Just going by what I've seen on another website that reports upon the latest news on the Cowboys. The people in charge here don't appear to like the members here mentioning them by name, according to what I've read in the past. I watched the game and noticed that Wright turned in a much worse performance than did Joseph. I suspect Wright is more likely to be in far more trouble than Joseph, who is still somewhat inexperienced. Wright just got toasted, from what I could tell in several instances. I doubt he has the quickness and deep speed to keep up with the better WRs. The remaining games should reveal more, however. Let's not forget to keep tabs on what he does in them. Here's hoping he just had a bad day.

First of all where is the bounty of riches that says you start cutting 3rd round picks after a pre season game . He had a pick and yes he was penalized on the play but I didn’t think he mugged the receiver . Anyhow way too early give up on either Wright or the aspiring rap artist .

Anyone see the play where KJ defended the pass deep down the sideline where he had perfect angle the receiver was forced to the out of bounds stripe ball sailed harmlessly away . Mention good with bad .

He's fine, in the right position, just need to make play on ball.

Yep. I also saw a low football IQ penalty on a kick.

Wright was a total reach. He reminds me more of a taller less athletic Mo Claiborne. And I knew Claiborne was a bust.

He is too skinny an lacks speed burst.

If I was a head coach I never let my team draft at 6 foot 4 DB. Those guys don't have a good track record, IMO.

Good thing Richard Sherman was only 6-3. I guess that saved him from failure.

I think 6-4 Brandon Browner was a starter on a Super Bowl winning team.

The following season he was a regular season starter on a Super Bowl winning team but injured before the Super Bowl.

Kearse was good for the Cowboys in 2021. Not a CB but he is a 6-4 DB.

If they didn't call the very questionable penalty on him, he would have had an INT and possibly pick-6.

The Diggs position in Quinn's defense requires good help defenders, usually the FS.

The Brown position is played differently. It requires the CB to play more safe style and not depend on the FS.

Quinn basically schemed Diggs into his big INT season.

It almost worked with Wright on the penalty play.

He had a penalty in the first quarter that negated his own interception & gave up multiple big plays after that. Brandon Johnson beat him deep for a 40-yard catch, & Kendall Hinton caught a 24-yard pass on Wright for Denver’s second score.

He was a project guy when he was drafted, but it doesn’t seem like he’s improved that much.
Regardless of Wright per se, the penalty was interesting.

He would not have been penalized if he was not wearing gloves.

The sticky gloves are what caused the jersey tug. His palm was open.

How did the last three 6'4" DB's Dallas had work out?

3 year rule.
I generally give OL 4 years since they take longer to develop, but people are people.
You can grouse and whine all day, but you're yelling at a force of nature.
And we know how that turns out.

‘21 draft has some busts.
