Good watch.

Some thoughts:

Canady (#31) is playing super confident. Gets his hands on a ton of passes. Outside of Parsons, this guy could be one of our biggest additions to the defense (yes, I know he was on the team last season but didn’t play).

Joseph (#24) looks really good too. Quick feet; able to mirror receivers. So much talk about his off the field hobbies but the kid is actually a good football player.

Robinson (#41) still not showing much other than being a JAG. I don’t see how we keep him on the roster. I’m actually been more impressed with Burton (#33) with regard to bottom of the depth chart corners.

Fehoko (#81) Has not stood out. Dropped two gimme catches in the clip. To me, he’s a clear practice squad candidate.

Wright (#40) I’ve turned the corner on him. I thought he was a late round prospect at best when we drafted him. I think he has some developable talent. I think he’s been a bit overhyped; I still think of him starting games this season is crazy. That said, I could see him taking a dramatic step up next off-season in the weight room.

Burton and Robinson both will be on an NFL team this year. One of the two might be a Cowboy.

I thought Robinson played well in action last week against the Stealers. Probably will come down to which player has the higher ceiling and potential.

Neither one will be a Cowboy. Between our draft picks, Brown and Lewis, there isn't enough room for either of them.

Yeah Wright should’ve probably gone late but the moment I watched him I was like OK he moves really well for a tall guy and could fit the cover 3 / boundary protection that Quinn likes from his corners.

I think where he would always struggle is if he’s asked to play a lot of Man. He could get turned pretty easy imo.

Maybe so. Hard to make the team with three players who have experience in Diggs, Brown, and Lewis and drafting Joseph in the second and Wright in the 3rd. That is 5 players most likely making the team. Leaves one space for Canady, Robinson, or Burton. I don’t see any room for a special teams only player.

Fehoko was a guy I thought we might have stolen but he's shown little. Maybe the lesson is stay away from Stanford WRs like JJ Arcega-Whiteside.

Wright is an interesting prospect. I recall reading one of his issues was that he struggled at the line, could be hit with slants, etc. That seemed to show in the Steelers game. Will be interesting to watch where he goes from here.

I am praying Joseph can lock down the CB opposite Diggs sooner, rather than later. I can't take Brown starting.

Yeah, I’ve got no problems taking a flyer on Fehoko in the 5th. He has a lot of development potential if we can stash him on PS, but he doesn’t appear ready for prime time at this point.

I still look at Wright as a specialty type corner that you match up in the red zone or in certain packages. I still have a hard time envisioning him as a starting caliber boundary corner.

it really seems Canady took last year to really learn and get better so hats off to him cause it could have been so easy to sit out and do nothing.
I was interested in him when we picked him up because I believe he had the highest PFF grades of all the acquisitions we made last season. I didn't get to see him perform but is it possible he was actually a good player before coming here just didn't get enough reps? PFF loved him anyway......haven't seen a corner around here with a 71 grade since they've been publishing.

Fehoko has bad hands. Is that fixable?

Really pleased with Wright and Joseph. I’m pretty confident in Diggs and Joseph starting. It’ll be a baptism by fire in week 1.

The defense is looking better on paper. If they’re even average, we’ll make the playoffs.

I wasn't aware of that. Hope he pushes for a starting spot.

Is Fehoko playing on special teams? Big and fast. That's how a bubble developmental WR makes the team. Gunner. Maybe returns.

Aside from Parsons.. Canady and Joseph will be two very important new contributors this season on the defense. I like Canady a lot, he just turned 27 so he is in his prime and i like the way he plays. Covers well and not afraid to hit people. Wright is another keeper, but we may see the best of him next year, this will be a year of learning for him and the staff on how to use him.

Fehoko was always fighting other postions groups for a roster. He had to convince the team that need to go 6 deep at WR instead of risking exposing him to waivers. He hasn't done that and he probably. Barring injury, I dont think he was ever going to push Wilson or Brown off the roster. They offer alot at the spots they are at, even if it's not sexy.

On thing that we have to remember though is that both Wilson and Brown are FA's next year. I believe the only player that played more ST snaps than Brown was Goodwin
