Saints fans harbor a special resentment for every team that has ever been considered a "dynasty". There are a lot of Cowboys fans here (also Steeler fans and Patriots fans) and this really annoys the hometown faithful.

Since the Saints flat out sucked for so long, anyone can easily understand why their fans would resent fans of the successful teams....right?

I understand, but there are other teams that have sucked/still suck that dont have quite the same hatred for the boys as Saints fans do.

Inability to run? Did you realize that the Saints have been in the top five in the league in rushing all season long? Currently still #5. They are averaging 138.9 yards per game. The Saints also rank third in the NFL in rushing TD's with 18, trailing only the Ravens and the Dolphins who both have 19.

The only thing I know about the Saints is that Archie Manning is a god and I don't even know much about Archie Manning to tell you the truth.

Yeah but there are other teams that have a longer history, more trophies and whatnot. I think its just the whole Americas team logo and Jerry Jones that seems to piss off so many fans.

Now if you answered Dallas on all these questions, you've passed the Dallas will most certainly lose on Saturday night test. But not because NO is particularly good. (although they are) I've never seen, outside the Pittsburgh Steelers from last year, a team that's been as lucky as NO this year.

But hey, don't knock it. We just have to try to steal it this Saturday. Because that's what it will take.

Saints are not blowing anyone out of late. I think defense's have figured out alittle bit what they like to do in certain circumstances. I think Dallas has a good shot this week.

BigD, I get what you're saying here. I do want to clarify my point though.

I realize I probably answered hastily in the other thread. I never really felt too good about Wade Phillips as the Cowboys coach, and I guess I'm ready to see him gone. But I would NEVER root against the Cowboys to see that happen.

That said, I don't just want them to make the playoffs....I don't just want them to get to the Super Bowl....I want them to be good enough to WIN IT when they get there.
