I didn’t watch the all 22 but I saw him make several good plays last night.

He’s had his bad moments this season but it is entirely possible for a second year player to improve as he plays more.

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come going forward.

Both him and Heath have made good progress this year

Settle down there bubba heath got abused by Nelson A on that deep route

Heath is not a FS

Woods thoufh is turning into a player

Still not sold, would expect us to upgrade the safety position soon.
Not saying it will be the FS from Seattle, but my hope is one way or another we will reinforcea position that has had a lack of talent for a long time. The safety position has and is subpar. Yes, Woods is improving but not to a level where he should be the starting FS for this team. A good backup - yes, starter no.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Landon Collins in the off-season work for me.

I still believe we need more high calibur competition at both safety positions. I love Woods' grit & toughness, but he's still out of position too often. Coming from a small school, you have to expect that. Draft more talent there, & may the best man win.

Forge them in fire. They'll either show up or they won't. Either way, you get to the truth quicker.

He just isn't big and physical enough to be a intimidating safety. And alongside the horrid Heath its just a bad combination.

Clearly, the best game for Woods. Up until the point, I had not seen any reason for the hype he was given during the offseason, being practically handed the starting free safety spot. He played like he deserved it in this game. Hopefully, he can build on that.

His performance and Randy Gregory's give me some hope that they are going to step it up a notch. This defense could go from very good to elite if some of these young guys step up.

It's exciting too to know that Jaylon Smith and Vander Esch aren't finished products.

I stand by my remark that they are making good progress...
