I've never seen a player do this in 45 years of football.

Not once. This guy cant play. Period....and is a large part of why this defense stinks now and has for years.

XWoods is a guy who *isn't* awful. Since it's his contract year, maybe they move him. Maybe they move him because they're already maxed out on comp picks, and so will get no compensation if he leaves.

But that would be total fire sale. Giving up a decent player at a position where we only have one of them.

I don't expect free agent money next year to be what it used to. You can probably get all three of them on cheap, one-year "prove it" deals.

If the cap shrinks, there will be a massive cash squeeze in free agency, with existing contracts all scaled premised on an expanding cap. Just a massive drop in the money available for free agents. Time for some serious deflation.

What are you talking about? He wouldn’t count for a comp pick next draft. He could for the 2022 draft.
