yea, and romo was long gone cause things are always sure fire.

that dak kid? 4th rounder, good players all gone.

trouble with stupid logic like this is that it's stupid.

Do you not comprehend the words on purpose? Romo and Dak are exceptions to the rule not the norm.

We can play both Jones and a ball hawk at safety. Woods and Williams are both guys we looked at that played FS so I think its a possibility. Even Jeff Heath, who seems like the presumed starter next year, is more of a FS and less of box SS. Last year, we played a lot of 3 safety groups with Jones, Church, and Wilcox. The problem was Jones would often come up to cover TE's and or the slot for us, leaving Wilcox deep, which he was not suited for. I can see Frazier and Blanton or ideally Jaylon take over Church's role and then either Heath or a draft pick take over Wilcox's role and it would be quite an upgrade. Actually, as it seems to be a priority to force Turnovers, I can see a ballhawk FS be kind of a priority. With two linebackers that can fly I don't see a traditional SS being a priority.

no.

they had a purpose.

also words like brady.
welker
motley
pearson (remember him? we had a lot more rounds back then didn't we?)
nate newton (who can forget NATE???)
priest holmes
harrison
rod smith
joe jacoby
antonio gates
cliff harris (man we loaded up on top players after what, 25 rounds back then?)
moon
and warner

all players you likely know but none were drafted.

exceptions exist. to discount it so you can play in your little playground is on you and frankly, stupid. while odds do go down, the possibilities are still there. to 100% go HOMER is just you trolling.

have fun. i'm not doing this.

If at the bottom of the second round the value is a safety, maybe Dallas moves Byron Jones to corner...

We saw that experiment year 1....And it failed miserably. Just leave him where he is @. Just find a strong safety that can play...and make a tackle in space.

If all we want is a SS who can play in space we dont need to spend a 3rd or 4th on them. We have always found hard hitting SSs, problem is we can never find anyone who can make a play on the ball.

And you want to trust who to do that? Jones??? Kid wouldn't last the 1st quarter of the season trying to be the 8th guy in the box.

As has been stated, with an improved D-Line and Jaylon playing I hope we dont need to pull safeties down as much. Im much more worried about having cover guys to keep up with Beckham, Marshall, Shepard and Engram.
