xbox or ps3?

You cant go wrong with either one really. Nowadays most games are on both systems anyways. I greatly prefer my ps3 but if you are just into madden/call of duty/battlefield/ etc then flip a coin. Unless you want bluray, then PS3 is the call.

you should get an xbox with kinect. PS3 has motion controls, but they are just ripoffs of Wii controllers, which you already have anyway. Kinect is completely different, and there are a lot of kids games coming for kinect that were announced today during E3.

My 7 year old daughter would tell you to get a PS3. Little Big Planet is her killer app, and she prefers the controllers as the 360's are a bit chunky for her.

I prefer the PS3 as well because I like their exclusive titles over 360's. I don't play online much (I use a PC for that) so maybe that colors my preference, but you know when I DO play online, it works flawlessly and I have a blast pwning fools in BlackOps so I don't know why Sony gets slagged on so much there (even before THE INCIDENT).

My 15 year old son, of course, would rather die than give up his 360.

My 4 year old reads his bedtime stories to me... even new books he has never seen before. He also knows the multiplication tables. I think he deserves the Wii. My 8 year old? well, um... I see your point.
