Man, I'm lovin' it! Owens is back in training, as well as Vanderjagt, & the offensive line situation is getting stronger with every game. The defense is looking "Doomsday" tough, and we haven't had any super devistating injuries in preseason.

With Owens & Crayton out, we got to see that we have a very bright future at WR, with Hurd, Rector, Copper, & Austin. I love Copper's ST play, & he's looking better at WR, but it would be cool for the Cowboys to have a WR named Austin. Besides Rector, Austin seems to be the other young WR who can take it to the house. He really put a move on that NO DB w/his TD. However it works out, the future's so bright, I gotta wear shades...haha.

With his perfect timing, coming back just in time to play in the Jags game, Owens brings added excitement to the team. I'm sure Terry Glenn is smiling, drooling just dreaming about single coverage. Dude is on another level right now. I hope he sticks it to all of the nay sayers who predicted his decline this year. He & DB have it down like never before, and I predict a 90 rec., 1,400+ year for Glenn if he, Owens & Co. stay healthy.

I have to admit to thinking next year for the SB, but with the surprising growth of Columbo & McQ, ya gotta feel that we have as good or better chance as any other team in the NFC to take it to the big dance.

Yes, I'm pumped up also. It's time to get that swagger back and get the haters hating the Boys that much more.

I hope it doesnt take Crayton long to get back in to the groove. He looked real good against Seattle but last season he never really came back from the injury.
Ofcourse from what we've heard this year's injury is much less significant and he's already bounced back. Can't wait to see the replay:( on the NFL network over the weekend.

I'm excited. I've only been a fan since I landed in Dallas in '01 so I don't have the glory years to look back on like most of you guys.

I'm going to enjoy it when we really kick the snot out of the opposition in some of our games this year. Can't imagine how much fun it is when the Cowboys are the undisputed best team in the NFL. Fingers crossed.

I think it's interesting that every day TO missed, ESPN and every other source was quick to not only report it but lead the program w/ it. Now that he's practiced 2 days in a row, ESPN has barely mentioned a word of it. Very interesting.

When things are going well for the Boys it seems the media can't handle it. Well, they're going to get two weeks in February where they have to handle it if they're gonna cover football.

Just imagine.
Two-reciever/two tight-end set...
You have Jones in the backfield, Witten and Fasano along with Glenn and TO.

TO's side is going to demand a safety over. Put Witten on TO's side to where just a LB has to cover him. Then you can bring Jones out of the backfield on a swing pass to that same side.

Just unbelievable options for Bledsoe this year.

I booked my Miami hotel

I think all of us are trying to hold back the enthusiasm, but it's hard. If our 1st string units put on a good showing, I will not be able to contain my "silver and blue" koolaid drinking self.

I'm with you!

It just feels like things are lining up very well for this team.

No new significant injuires to key players. The emergence of young depth (such as McQuistan, Rector, Hurd, Watkins).

Flozell's lingering injury issues should be resolved before the Jacksonville, and allowed McQuistan to get into the Petitte, Fabini, Columbo mix. But Flozell's

Romo's performance suggests he'll be a quality backup (maybe more).

Owens, Crayton, and Glenn have some injury issues (none severe) that allows some of the young WRs a chance.

A benefit of Owens' hamstring is that he is now seen as ancillary; he's a valuable mercenary, but not absolutely essential. The team knows it wouldn't crumble without him.

And the defense is just getting rev'ed up ....
