I know most heard Jerry speak. But have you ever tried to read part of 10 minutes of it? It’s like clues in National Treasure movies but they aren’t riddles and there is no answer. It’s unreal

“In the almost 35 years that I've been involved with the Dallas Cowboys, I've only missed one Senior Bowl,” Jones said. “35 years. And I think I missed one combine, in 35 years. At the NFL, over the last four or five years, we want to come in a day early so that we can visit with prospective coaches for the future of my team and any other teams. In 35 years I don't think I've ever visited with a coach, but what in my heart and mind I wasn't having an interview. I don't think I've ever had a coach visit with me that wasn't prospectively thinking maybe someday our paths might cross ... I've been around a lot of coaches. As a matter of fact I wanted to be a coach. Except I wanted to live better than I thought coaches lived.”

He never answers a question he always deflects and rambles on about nonsense. I cannot believe that Bo Media has question his mental state. The dude has lost it

what!?

Nobody in the media with the balls to ask him to translate that.
Right and then he goes into a groveling tangent. It’s like Christmas dinner with a drunk uncle and most of the family is like “is Jerry still talking in the living room”

"Our fans have been very patient. Very patient,” Jones said about the Cowboys’ recent blunders. “I want to tell them how appreciative I am of their support and their interest in the Dallas Cowboys. Now there's a whole bunch of those fans who look because they want to see me grovel. But to those fans who have been with us, this decision to bring Schotty in is risky. It's not a Hail Mary at all. At all in any way. But it's founded over some very unique circumstances. I know how much our fans are into the Dallas Cowboys. And for me to be into it is no solace at all. We're interested, they're interested, I'm interested in getting into those playoffs and win it."

I was so lost when he started talking about that uhhhhhh

He wouldn't answer anyone's question. Didn't matter what they asked.
Because these types have been let off the hook by the media for so long because God forbid they might not come back on your show, or worse may try to come after your career.

Hard hitting journalism that drills down on answers with follow up questions is dead. Now it's just let them dance around the question or ramble on about some other topic completely and never call them back to the original question.

It’s almost another language.

We deserve every bit of what we have coming our way. As a fan of the team I look forward to enjoying every bit of the dysfunction.

If you are interested in classic reality based perversion strap in and get your pop corn ready. If you are interesting in winning championships I would recommend you look elsewhere.

Jerry’s a great businessman who desperately wants to be a football man. Nothing worse than a super rich guy who believes his money qualifies him for whatever he wants.
I am more upset about Stephen today. I looked at Jerry in the presser yesterday and I saw a guy who didn't look like he had many years left. But his idiot son can keep this madness going for another 20 years.

Indicative of why things are the way they are around this franchise.

The carnival barker owner/GM can do what he wants bc as we ALL KNOW it’s his team. (Rolls eyes)

No need to focus on winning big or winning in January because we make the money regardless. Matter of fact, we make even more money if we DON’T pay players or spend on them. Super Bowl or not they know the fans ain’t going NOWHERE!

If he can’t do it HIS way and his way alone, it’s really no point. No matter that a Super Bowl would bring untold amounts in. Nah, only if we can do it the ONLY way they know, the good old tried and not true 30 year method that leads to NO RESULTS…

So it could’ve been an unripe tomato, Bill Belicheck, or the dug up body of Vince Lombardi up there, that PC was gonna be about Jerry regardless. So good luck to Brian or whatever. I’m sure he’ll do aiight but not enough to win big bc that’s how it’s been here since the last NFCCG/Super Bowl…shrugs
