yeah it is.... but it may be a little too early to start using it. A lot of things can happen in four weeks. After next week though it should be pretty fun.
 
Something tells me that we're going to **** this up again.
 
As bad as today was...we still control our own fate.
 
bottom line... we take care of business at home against the chargers and eagles, we make the playoffs. I have tried several different scenarios and no matter what we get in if we go 2-0 at home.
 
I've said from day one I just want to win the division games.

But we absolutely must beat Wash and Philly. We lose to either team and you can pretty much kiss playoffs goodbye.

Honestly I think we have to go 3-1 the rest of the way. And let's be honest, we're not beating New Orleans in their house.
 
Ill start playing after what happens vs SD. You would think 10 wins gets you in, but who knows.

Actually all we have to do is beat philly and win another one. As long as the giants or eagles lose to somebody besides us or each other we will be ahead of one of them

This year it definitely will. There are only like 7 legit playoff contenders going for 6 spots right now. We know three division winners.

That leaves Dallas, NYG, Philly, and GB fighting for the remaining three. GB has a couple of losses on their schedule IMO.

From what i have seen, its pretty much a guarantee if we win our last 2 against the Commanders and eagles we are in. But i don't really want that game against the eagles to be a play in game, not after the way it turned out last year

It wouldn't bother me for that game to be for the Division title. I want to see what the Boys have going into the playoffs. If they can't take care of the e-girls at home for a playoff spot, then they wouldn't do squat in "the tournament", anyways.
 
Next weeks games with playoff implications:

packers @ bears... go bears
chargers @ cowboys.... go boys
eagles @ giants... toss up ( i would say go eagles since we have the tiebreaker on them and we play them again this time at home)
saints @ falcons... go saints (not going to catch them, and this knocks the falcons out of the playoff race)

I'd also like to see the Saints win because I don't want to be the team facing them after their first loss.

It looks like no matter how you shake we're going to have to beat Philadelphia last game of the season. It could very well be another win and in deal against them.

I hope it works out so that we host the giants in the wild card. I can't stand them but this would be payback. Kinda like that year they won the superbowl. we beat them twice in the regular season but couldn't in the playoffs. I hate them soooo much.
 
If we beat Philly and Was it's almost guaranteed we'll be at least a wild card.

Yeah I just picked who I thought would win and that's what I ended up with.

I do want the Giants again.
 
Sadly I found several scenarios which I think are viable where we miss the playoffs at 10-6. Did give Philly and NY some credit though in these scenarios. Either way I hope we see NY again. I would love nothing more than to knock them out...although Im not sure that would happen...
 
I went through and picked all the games, even the trivial ones. I gave us losses against SD and NO and wins against Washington and Philly. Apparantly it is possible for us to miss the playoffs even if we win in the final two weeks. I think it was the fact that I gave NYG a win over Minnesota in week 17 that tipped it. My logic being that Minnesota will probably have everything it can achieved locked up and will rest Favre and others.
