There's some revisionist history here. Even if we make that FG against Seattle, they had plenty of time to drive and score again. I remember having absolutely no confidence at that point that our defense would hold.

Same here, which is why I really wasn't all that upset with Romo at the time as I would have been otherwise. In fact, that very thought was going through my mind as they were lining up for the field goal.

Has McGee even been active every game? I don't pay attention to stuff like that, but for some reason I thought the coaches often left him inactive, in which case they definitely wouldn't want to give him that job.

He's held more kicks than probably anybody else on our current roster. I could care less if he's the starting QB. To me, that's a ridiculous argument to not have Romo hold simply because he's a starting QB. If he's good enough and wants to do it, it shouldnt be an issue.
