There's some revisionist history here. Even if we make that FG against Seattle, they had plenty of time to drive and score again. I remember having absolutely no confidence at that point that our defense would hold.

Same here, which is why I really wasn't all that upset with Romo at the time as I would have been otherwise. In fact, that very thought was going through my mind as they were lining up for the field goal.

Folk is the problem here, not Mcbriar and Romo is not the solution.
And what are your credentials to make this statement?

Romo doing what he can to help the team, but this decision does not make very much sense. Looks like a desperate move by the coaches because they have no clue how to fix the problem (par for the course for Phillips).

Why don't they give the rookie a shot at it before putting the starting QB at risk?

Folk has not been the same since the off season surgery.

Romo has experience. I don't know if anyone else does.

Has McGee even been active every game? I don't pay attention to stuff like that, but for some reason I thought the coaches often left him inactive, in which case they definitely wouldn't want to give him that job.

I see it simply as faith in Tony Romo to do the job well.

He's held more kicks than probably anybody else on our current roster. I could care less if he's the starting QB. To me, that's a ridiculous argument to not have Romo hold simply because he's a starting QB. If he's good enough and wants to do it, it shouldnt be an issue.

he said he'd rather not do it but since the buffoons running this team can't find anybody else to do it he will.

What if the Ref's didnt blow that reversal call on Witten's 1st down catch.
