It's sort of not talking smack because the Lions really don't need him. Neither does Dallas, but we could use a capable backup in case of Romo getting injured and could use the money saved in the cap by trading Henry, who we really don't need either.

Still, Dallas has more wins in 2008 than Detroit has had combined in the last two season.

I don't mind Lions fans talking smack. They know their team sucks, just like everyone else, but the ones who are willing to take the heat for talking junk are the ones that are obvious Lions fans. Not like some NFL fans who only come around to talk junk when things are going well for their team.

It's easy to make noise then but it takes a lot more guts to stick your neck out there when you're team sucks.


The good thing for the Lions is that they're better at losing than we are at winning.
