Ya'll Remember When Dak Was "done" With Romo Because Of INTs?

I've never been a fan of Prescott really and was done with him after the 2019 season.
I was a fan until 2019. Garrett’s last year told me all I needed to know about Dak.

2020 and 2021 gave me a little confidence regarding his play but I’m totally done after this season.

He’d have to throw 40 TDS to 10 or less picks next season for me to change my mind.

You may need to look in the mirror and reflect on your obsession. You posted a Dak hate thread last night the microsecond the final gun sounded. You have Dak as your avatar. Dak is living rent free in your head, obviously. We all know you hate the guy personally because he stole the job of your other obsession, Romo.

Wow. It’s just football man. how about some self reflection?

Dak put up pretty numbers in 2019. We had the #1 offense that year.

We choked against literally every decent defense we played and went 8-8. His numbers that year were as empty as ever.

I was done with him after that.

So is anything he's saying factually incorrect?

If not, maybe it's time for you to self reflect if the truth bothers you that much.....

Well, he and you are not that much the same then.

You and I can make a tweet like that if we was his age at the time and zero aspirations of reaching the NFL. That was not the case for Prescott. He had talent and a solid chance in 2012 of eventually playing in the NFL. Eventually he would be under the same scrutiny that he applied to Romo, not only by fans, but by his peers.

He had zero clue how he would perform after he reached the NFL. Yet he said what he said thinking to himself, "Well that ain't gonna be me." He was an idiot creating that tweet before experiencing what it truly means to be a quarterback in the National Football League.

Now his own words will forever bite him in the butt. Like others have already said: irony. And self-inflicted.

Obviously bothers you so you have to comment on my comment. You Romo lovers look for any excuses to bring his name up time and again. Pointing out a tweet from an 18 year old kid at the time to prove some worthless point is pretty pointless and funny. I did get a laugh out of it at least….

Doesn't bother me. Just asking you to self reflect and hold yourself to the same lofty standards you espouse

you seem more concerned with the quantity of @MountaineerCowboy posts than their veracity. That's telling

I absolutely hold myself to standards, which obviously bothers you. There’s a lot of trash posts littering these boards for the sake of just being an a$$hole. Too much crap to sift through for anything worth reading. Again I ask, What is the point of the thread? To call out a post by an 18 year old kid? So you’re a bigger man for doing so, eh.

I would think the point would be obvious.

Dak was once nothing more than a fan (like the posters on this forum) and none of Dak's most devoted fans seems to have any concern about him hammering Romo for what Dak perceived as a poor performance back in 2012. "Just an 18 year old kid". "Just a frustrated fan". "Nothing to see here".
But fast forward 9 years, and some of those same people seem to have a lot of concern about today's Cowboys fans giving Dak a dose of his own medicine. Especially if they do it "too often".

When Dak made his tweet, was it "Just for the sake of being an a-hole"?
If not, why not? And why is it different today?

Like I said, the point for you isn't whether or not it's true or valid criticism.

if it was, you'd be arguing the content of the posts, rather than the character or motive of the poster.
And if you don't want to "sift through all that crap", no problem. But quit complaining about it. Just skip past it. Very easy to do.

Great so now dak will go back to checking it down every play. Even worse on the other end of the spectrum.
