Yannick Ngakoue - Free Agent DE

We can make more moves come June 1 when we receive another 11? Million from zeke cut. We could make another move or two like last year with getting Barr.

I thought he was close to signing with Las Vegas but I guess nothing yet.

Does anyone know why this guy has not been signed yet? He is only 28 years old. Played in 32 games the last 2 seasons and has 19.5 sacks during that time. He has 65 sacks for his career

We have Sam Williams, Armstrong, Flowers, Dlaw and Parsons........I also think they will draft another one, the mid-late round.

BTW.......fans/posters and media are sleeping on Armstrong but he had one hell of a season with only 5 starts.

Damn I read Yannick Noah. LOL
That's a blast from the past.
Went over to Wiki -- Noah is doing well post-playing career.
Captain of France's men and women national tennis teams; also is a music performer.

'Top 101 Free Agents of 2023' (NFL.com): Ngakoue is listed as the highest ranked player - at no. 26 - that has yet to sign a deal.
Right behind him are no. 30 DL Poona Ford, no. 31 CB Shaquill Griffin, and no. 35 Edge Jadeveon Clowney.

He is an impressively consistent pass rusher, but nonexistent in run defense. Do you sign him to big money to be a situational rusher, or accept every team will run to his side when they see him on the field?

After his time in Jacksonville, he was dangled for a trade and no one even called:

Las Vegas impressed with his pass rush, perplexed that his run defense is somehow getting worse:

After double digit sack season for Indy, Colts said Yannick is not a “scheme fit”, would rather go with bargain bin FA:

If he has issues with run defense then we definitely don't have a need for him.

Either the group of Free agents suck after 40 or Clowney is over rated.

I think because the comp picks for UFAs ends on 15 May. Afterwards, anyone who is a FA as a result of an expiring contract can be signed to a team's content without comp picks issues.

Sidenote, I would like to see us sign him after the draft.

You would think there has to be a reason he keeps bouncing around the league

Seems like a guy you'd almost bet money will end up in Philly in a month or two
