Yards per play difference

The cardinals were blitzing the heck out of the cowboys.

If you want to back off the blitz. You need some big plays over the top to make the defense hesitant to keep bringing the heat.

That didn’t happen last night. Not even close.

It was the Dink and Dalton show last night.

AZ has been blitzing all year. Cowboys had to be expecting blitz.

So, why the poor execution when AZ blitzed?

The OL stinks. And on the plays where Dalton had time and a receiver open downfield..... he missed

One reason the only true starter on the OL was Connor Williams. The rest backups and a rookie. Granted would have liked to see Dallas put it down field more than they did since the Cards were playing for anything around the line of scrimmage as they were often times using a single high safety with everyone else playing around the line. Dallas never could attack them deep and so there is never a reason for the Cards to back off.

....Blitz + Rookie OL = Disaster

Red Rifle knew the bargain price was to big to fit the bill.

3.9 yards and throwing rockets no one can catch too

Dalton is our backup QB. He should be able to overcome our star RB fumbling the ball away twice, a horrible O-line, a ridiculously bad defense, an interception due to uncalled PI, and a WR dropping an easy TD.........in his first start. No excuses for him.
