Year 2 leaps to watch this year

Revel and James are the two I’m most excited about. Revel has had a full off season and will have a full TC. And with better coaching I feel like this dudes ceiling is high. James showed flashes last year and in a better scheme with better coaching I can see him taking that next step.

I think Ezeiraku and Revel will both ‘suddenly learn how to play’ this year. Along with everyone else on defense, including those who somehow forgot.
Checking the roster, I think that includes all the holdovers from last year.

:omg:

Unless he plays lights out
He’s not gonna get many snaps unless there’s an injury. We paid a RB to be the starter and blue would need to really improve his blocking ability to be in on 3rd downs so that leaves reserve duty to give starter a break. I like blue and what he can bring with his speed. I particularly like that he is a really good route runner. For a RB he has amazing route running ability we could use. But he’s not gonna be the workhorse or be in when a back is needed to protect the QB

For the sake of the team, it’s gotta be Revel and should be Revel.

Any time he saw last year was a bonus. The change at coordinator, and time removed from his injury, may act as a “reset” to a player that teased every so slightly last year of what he’s capable of.

Some players just move with a smoothness and have a gate that makes you say, “Looky here…we might have something.” Revel’s got that. It’s up to him and Parker to make what he’s got more than potential.
Im looking for a "reset" for Revel as well.
I didn't see much smoothness of movement from him though. Most likely because of the knee brace he had to wear.
He was obviously rushed into action before he was fully recovered from his injury IMO.
I hope he's born again hard this season along with a few of the Others.
Maybe now that he's free of that Tyron Smith style knee/elbow brace they had him in--he holds a corner down.

Yeah he’s more of a change of pace back who can give options to the OC with his route running ability.

I agree. Had he came into camp last year ready I think he could have had that role last year. But it’s not uncommon for guys to think they’ve made it before they have. If he does well as a change of pace guy this year, works on his blocking and buys in he totally he could earn an expanded role next year. He’s got some juice and if he puts his mind to it he can have a pro career
