Drive would have stayed alive if the game had been properly officiated. The refs could have just as easily blown a call on a short pass by calling a bogus pass interference or something. Dez caught that damn ball.

He did maintain control and almost fumbled it for a split second and didn't let it touch the ground and ultimately maintained control. That's a catch in the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s NFL. Only in the 2010s could the NFL dream up this absurd nonsense that rules that not a catch.

Just watched it on youtube, like you said he almost fumbled which showed he never maintained control. when he landed on the ground the ball was coming out. He never maintained full control of the ball

All Dez had to do was secure the catch and not reach for the end zone and we can then milk the clock down before we score. Romo has balls that's what it takes to be a great QB. Well I said it was stupid to even throw the pass since it was 4th and 2 and the game was in the 4th qtr. I believe dak would have ran for the first down or threw a 4 yd pass to get the first and keep the drive alive
