But two things make me wonder.

1. I wonder if he really, really believes the tandem is the best way to go re RBs.
Clearly -- and I have been among JJ's biggest fans -- MB should be the "starter" and is not. Why? Is Wade afraid to hurt JJ's feelings? In a just world, he'd elevate barber to official starter and let the chips fall where they may.
I'm ready for MB to be the featured back and run the ball as much as he can handle and stop this pretention of both being even re skills and production. JJ would be an excellent runner to bring in to give MB a breather, only.

2. Wade praised Flo on Monday, despite Flo's lack of concentration (or hearing) and commiting at least two illegal motions (or was it three?).
Not a fan of man boobs, but at least that old has-been would have lit into Flo and further, keep on his case until he stops making stupid illegal motions.
He might well be playing his position as well as Wade says he is (I did not really notice how he was doing Sunday) but the penalties have got to stop and Wade should call him out on it.

harumph!

Otherwise Wade continues to impress.

I dont think MB3 should be the starter just yet...JJ played well last game and looks like He's getting his confidence back. Give jj more games to prove himself.

This is a two back league now a days...Who ever starts makes no difference. We need two backs and JJ is stilla good back.

The word "clearly" is just an indication that your argument isn't very strong, and you're trying to convince people that it is. If it were that "clear," don't you think that would be the situation? Do you really think that Wade has no doubt in his mind that MB3 should start, but he's just refusing to give in? Screw feelings, he wants to win games above all. This is the NFL.

how do you know he's not on his case in private? Getting on someone's case in the media isn't always the best way to help said person concentrate better. All it does is get more reporters around his locker grilling him on the public bashing. That's only going to sidetrack some players more IMO.

But I guess we need SOMETHING to complain about. There's not much out there for us is there?

wade is looking at whats best for the "team" in the long run. and the best thing for the team is to have both happy, healthy, and fresh.
as for flo i think wade realizes, although john madden and alot of fans don't that flo had 5 penalties last year and he's played against some very good pass rushers this year and has kept them off his qb which is the most important thing. flo will be fine, but when he goes up against great rushers he , like most lt's tries to get off the line asap

I made it to the word tandem.

After the Texas-OU game you'll only make it to the words "Longhorn meltdown.";)

It's all good, dude. I remember when you could only read three words before giving up. Aixelsyd is a bad thing to have, dude. I mean, Blutto.

ya know ive called for mb3 to be the starter but than i thought about it a little more. If barber becomes the starter than when does he get a break? he would start, do the redzone and goalline packages, and be the 3rd down back. I say if jj is ok from his concusion you give him the ball early and often against the rams. jj played well against the bears only to have several big plays called back on bogus calls. this season though i would like to see barber get more carries.
