They picked #3 this year... And why should they be any better next year? Joe Thomas?

They may be a little better with Jamal Lewis and Joe Thomas, but not much.

Yep. I think that 1st round pick will be a top 10 pick, bank on it.

Great trade!
Both teams should be happy. Cleveland got Quinn and Thomas for 2 firsts and a second. They would have been using that top pick next year on a QB that's probably not as good as Quinn anyway.

Cleveland has more talent than that.

But this is a GREAT day in Cowboys history.

I dunno. I look at that team and they could be bad. Whether they start Quinn or Frye they're still going to be subpar at QB next year. What are they going to surround them with? Braylon Edwards, who's inconsistant. A fat over the hill Jamal Lews. A Winslow Jr. coming off of microfracture surgery. An 80 year old Joe Jurvicious. And the 28th ranked defense in the NFL in points allowed.

Exactly. Buffalo at least had Bledsoe still. Cleveland has no QB... And if they get tempted to put in Quinn, it's over. :D

I don't care how much potential Thomas and Quinn, have. 2007 is their rookie year, and they will not be dominant enough to turn the Browns around in a tough division. Those two picks might be productive, but not in the immediate future. The Cowboys will clean up BIG TIME.. You're right!!!

I like the trade but to make it a really good one Dallas still needs a top pick that makes sence, WR or FS? BP would be pleased.

Cleveland's schedule is BRUTAL next year. They've got to play the entire AFC East and then Pitt-Balt-Cincinatti twice!!! and all with a rookie QB or that scrub that played for them last year.

Top 10 is pick is very probable

Did Savage/Crennell drop the soap when Jerry and his gang walked into the shower stall?! Awesome trade. Cleveland is clueless, there are reasons Quinn dropped. The biggest one is he just isn't that good. He won't beat out Frye next year IMO.

And next year when it comes time to use that #1 of Cleveland's, everybody will be like, trade down. Lol.

I'll say what everyone is afraid to say though. This could be a top overall pick. I see a beating coming before anything on that team begins improving. Think of the one we took our first year with Aikman. And to their dismay, they don't have much to work with next year to follow up a top QB with a RB that they're close to desparately needing. Top 3, again, atleast. This team needs one more successful offseason before improving and they just chopped their feet off with giving us that #1. Jerry's still prison raping them. This one's an all nighter before it begins sinking in for the dawg pound.

Top wideout out there for us next year with that pick, let's not mess around!

The Ticket just replayed the tape of the phone call when they finalized the trade with Cleveland. You could hear Savage's voice cracking. It was so great.
