This is what i have been waiting for zoners, here is what Bigg Leonard Davis had to say;
RG Leonard Davis expects Romo to do everything within his power to play, but Bigg is more concerned with making sure that the offensive line gets its act together after last week's poor performance.

"It's something that you wouldn't and shouldn't be proud of," he said about the quarterback getting hit a lot. "This week we're taking it upon ourselves to protect the quarterback. ... Regardless of who's back there, we're stepping our game up."

This is what i have wanted to see, players stepping up, knowing that played poorly and wanting to do better, yesssssssssss wooooooohoooooooo

Yeah I was thrilled to read that. I was very happy to see someone step up and say they know that they've got to step their games up.

Now they just need to do it on the field and that will thrill me.

you got that right cowboys fans, maybe now these players understand now about what us fans want and expect, and when you dont play, bring your agame, players get hurt like tony romo and mcbrair

even burnett may have gotten hurt on that last play he had to run on special teams, and wouldnt have if the players had played like they were capable of

Does anyone really think that wasn't what they've been thinking since at least the third quarter of last week's game and then all week long.

Still glad to hear him say it. Interesting in that Bigg was the one who stepped up first.

I was going to say the same thing. While it is good to hear him taking the responsiblity words in this game mean nothing what matters is what you do on the field. This line did a poor job last week that needs to change.

Finally...I can die happy now.
Yeah, they couldn't possibly have felt that way until it was reported to the fans.

I love it when players suddenly decide that they are gonna play better and harder.

WHY DON'T YOU TRY DOING THAT EVERY GAME???

Great! Too bad they didn't feel that way b4 Romo got hurt. Maybe we can get the oline to run coverage teams I'm sure they r better than Malibu Barbie and the Ken Dolls!

hmmm, is it possible to ask that you protect the QB the rest of the season instead of just this week?

Why do players not go "balls to the wall" every game?

Why does it take your QB and punter getting carted off the field to light a fire under your arse???

More like an excuse, IMO.

Let's wait until Romo gets pounded then we'll "start" playing some ball. These last few weeks, we were just messin'.

Makes perfect sense.
