I've noticed the past two months how he's trying to play this tough guy act when speaking about Dez. He knows Dez isn't very eloquent and most likely won't speak up about it but I'm sure he notices it. After today's game he had no problem calling Dez out for the drop yet refuses to say anything negative about Jason or Romo for the game management at the end. The double standard is clear as day. What a joke.

Comments on Dez: "Everybody drops them, but he needs to make that catch."

Comments on Jason: "You might have liked to have more yards on that last play, but I don’t take issue with it."

Come on, how do you put the game management at the end on Romo? He can't snap the ball because the team is not set, so if he does he'll draw the penalty and lose yards. And he can't spend time rallying the team to get set because he's waiting on Garrett who is taking too long to find a play on his cheat sheet. And he can't waste the time out because that was up to Garrett to call after the last play, only Garrett could not be effective then as a head coach because he was inefficiently occupied trying to be an offensive coordinator.

Either one should have called a TO when the team wasn't ready. You could've thrown a 10 yd out to witten or dez. Enough blame for all in this game.

Why would he say anything about Romo did at the end of the game? He wasn't the guy responsible for other players being situation-ally unaware enough to line up, so he could kill the clock. That's squarely on the coach.

And Dez deserves blame, you have to catch that ball.

They needed to spike it. Using the timeout and taking a chance on an obvious out is not the wise thing to do. The team needed to get set, spike it, then try to get a little closer for the FG before using the TO.

Why would anyone want to hear what he has to say? he is a great salesmen and that's about it

You have to r realize thats not going to happen, call a TO and give it a shot, if its not there throw it ob. Still can try the kick.

I totally disagree. Only sideline routes would work and the D would be totally geared to stop that. Why risk a pick there? Get set, spike it, try another play that could be anything (greater chance of success than the other situation) and call TO after that. The guys who didn't get set were to blame.

Like some have observed there are many levels of football, for 17 years Dallas has played to the lowest level of organized professional football.

Locally in your Home town there are back yard coaches and 9 year olds that get the plays in and line up better.

That says everything you neeed to know about the entire Dallas Cowboys Organization as a whole.

It can't be THIS hard to build a winning team again. I said in a previous post that the Cowboys are the only team that can't get back on track as a contender compared to some of the other teams that tasted some success in the 90's like the Giants, 49ers, Falcons, Packers, Steelers.

I want to take this opportunity and congratulate Jerry Jones. Yes congratulate him. Once upon a time he had the NFL by the throat. Teams that were so good other teams would tremble in fear before the game. Now your team strikes fear to only the fans. The other teams tremble at the games but mostly tremble with laughter at the offensive mistakes. This is your team now Jerry, it has been for 17 years. You've done a terrible job as a GM and an owner.

Now back to my congratulations. I want to congratulate you on your fame. You are famous and a household name to the sports world. As a fan of over 35 years it appears to me that being famous is all you care about now. This attitude has trinkled down into the whole team. The players are not competitive but simply happy to be playing on a famous team. As a fan I feel bad for Romo, Ware, Witten, Lee and Murray who play their heart out only to lose because the "happy to be famous players" don't hustle back to the huddle or catch balls that hit their chests or even God forbid learn the play book. Nope, they're famous and being famous is why they are with the cowboys. They have have learned this is acceptable from the owner and GM. The owner and GM has more to be proud about with his HBO cameos, commercials and gigantic stadium than his team.

I'm a cowboy fan and always will be, I have stuck up for Jerry for years. Now from the bottom of my heart I just want to say I hate you Jerry, you are the worst owner in all of sports because you care more about being a celebrity than being an owner of a competitive. So screw you and your moral victories and how you feel about this team tonight. In the years between '91-'97 there was no such thing as a moral victory. But hey congrats on the cool interview you got to do after the game and all the interviews you'll get to do from here on out. You're cool Jerry, a famous celebrity, and I hate you for it.

and one more things MR. Celebrity Owner, can you put aside the mirror for a second and think outside of yourself and tell me what is odd about this picture.
In the NFC east here's the coaches and their accomplishments:

Andy Reid, 4 time NFC title game appearances, 1 super bowl appearance
Mike Shanahan, 2 time super bowl champion
Tom Coughlin, 2 time super bowl champion
Jason Garret, umm....hold on...still thinking...well he has a nice haircut, looks well groomed. Great smile BTW, especially when he smiles at the end of a game that were losing.

One more time, screw you Jerry, have fun being famous, I wish you were never a part of the dallas cowboys or sports in general.

Thank you, I did read that post on long time members speaking their minds but I was at work and didn't have time to reply. It made me laugh tho, this is a very therapeutic way to deal with these loses, I should have done this years ago.
