You are Jerry Jones. What Would You Take for Dez?

Santonio Holmes went for a 5th round pick, Anquan Boldin went for a 3rd, 4th, and 5th.

Dez has lots of potential but he seems to be suffering from the character issues that have plagues this team for so long. We got rid of TO for allegedly similar reasons and he was a beast with Romo behind Center.

Personally, I would trade him in a heartbeat for a 2nd and 3rd, or maybe even a 2nd and a 4th. We could really reinforce the OL with some extra picks and this year's draft is very deep with talented WRs.

What would your price be?

So a man that has debt has character issues?

High 1st and a 2nd might be tempting. Anything less would just get laughed off.

A lot less than we gave up in a 1st round pick.
Dez is another WR Headcase and Petulent to boot.
I think we would be lucky to unload him to a mid round 2nd.
Another genius move by our GM Jerry to add glitz and no game.
Either one of the two top WR's this year are heads and shoulders better
than Dez.

That's it, i have seen and heard enough! this guy wants to get rid of one of the best young talents in football for a 2nd and 3rd or 4th round pick.that is so dunb, i won't even try to tell you how dumb it is. some of you so-called fans must love seeing the Cowboys lose.I dare Jerry to trade Dez.

Some people see what Terrell Owens isn't.

Some people see what Terrell Owens is.

Two truths:

1. If Dallas seriously entertained thoughts of trading or releasing Dez Bryant, those reasons would bear very little similarity with those which surrounded Terrell Owens not only in Dallas, but also in San Francisco and Philadelphia (and probably Buffalo and Cincinnati as well).

2. Terrell Owens != Dez Bryant. Given a few years and a ton of total nonsense, mixed in with a childish interview or two conducted in a driveway? Maybe. Now? Of course not.

You must not pay much attention to football dude.
At least TO would put in the work even though he was a headcase and
sucked the life out of a team.
This guy only thinks of his next visit to the mall so he can drop his wallet and pants on the next bling he sees.
What a fool. Do we really want to deal with him for the next 5 or 6 years.
Unload him now!!!:laugh2:

I wouldn't trade Dez. PERIOD.

Having said that, if you think we could get a high 1st for Dez you are crazy. He was drafted at the end of the 1st round last year specifically because most teams feared that he was immature and might have character issues. I've seen nothing from Dez that would have altered that impression one iota.

Ok, guy...we ALL get that you dare Jerry to trade him..We've all read enough of THAT.
Lighten up..it's just football chat..

Dez is as good as AJ Green and Julio Jones but he has some obvious baggage. So total package-wise, they are worth slightly more.

You could not get what Dez is worth right now--which is a high 1st rounder.

So far, he has not done anything that is a deal breaker, though the caution flag is out.

I'm holdin', not foldn'

Bryant puts in work as well and put up better rookie numbers than TO put up as a rookie. I'll be the 1st to say Dez needs to grow up but the kid has great talent. What gets me is many things that get said about him are opinions that get turned into false facts. I guess if you say something enough times it becomes the truth.
