1. Tony Romo
3. Jason Witten
7. DeMarcus Ware

Witten and Ware have to go.

I'd put in Tony too for what he gave the team and what he meant to the team. He brought life back to the franchise, and carried it for years.

Nate was a better player, but Romo is similar to Woody in giving everything he had to the team and meaning so much to the team. (Though Woody was a better player than either.)

This guy should be in

Not really.

Do that and you basically cheapen the accomplishments of the rest of the ring honorees.

Too Tall Jones deserves to be, but I am certain Jones' fascination with players from his era eliminates that possibility.

I knew that - my post as meant to be taken in the same vein. Unfortunately tone doesn't always come across in print.

Yes, indeed, govnor. I am experimenting on an Internet social feature that can, by electrical touch, extend a hand of friendship, or if it is a gal, give the hand a suggestive squeeze to assure something ... Romantic. Also, features that convey something is in jest, sarcastic or even insidious. Yes, sarcasm often does not show.
For instance, for a while, I had you pegged for a lout. I am relieved you are a good lad, ruffian!

... Oh, fiddlesticks! ... Me mum just reminded me the Internet has emoticons .... damn, I was going to take my invention to "Shark Tank" for a $500,000 investment for 10% equity and use of my face ... O, destiny can be so cruel....

White really was on top of his game when the wrist broke. Best QB rating of his career. A great touch passer. But he'd lose control of the ball too often after the wrist broke. Just never the same again.
lost feeling in it...he said it came back in '89...too late.
damn.

4. Daryl Johnston

5. Ed "Too Tall" Jones

10. Bill Bates:facepalm:

My picks: Witten (a shoo-in) and Ed Jones (It's time)

I think that there were more factors to White's decline than than just his broken wrist. He was 34 at the time he suffered the injury, so age alone played a part. He was indeed having his best season in 1986, so it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that he couldn't match that success. He returned to around his norm.

The strike shortened season of 1987 threw everything into turmoil. It is difficult to maintain any type of continuity with that fiasco.

The main factor was the team just wasn't as good. In 1986, White had Tony Hill and Mike Sherrard as his top wide receivers. Both of those guys never played another down for Dallas after that season. The offensive line fell apart. He was sacked a career high 44 times in 1987 in only 11 games. No QB is going to have success under that much pressure.

The broken wrist was a factor, but not as much as other things.

Romo Witten and Johnson... Can't decide on 2 and I'm tired of the Moose not being in. Of course Romo is already in so... Yea that's just 2 new ones.
