I'm sorry, but after all the debate and arguments over the thread I created last night I had to do it again.... :D

You can slice it however you want, but the fact is that we are the number one seed in the playoffs and have home field locked up with one week left in the season! Rest for our starters and a healthy team come playoffs!!!

Go Cowboys :star:
(Now the attitude is a little bit different than last night. Amazing what clinching HFA will do lol)

Play to win and win to play. No slacking.

Absolutely. You play to win the game.

I just hope none of our starters play past halftime, and that any player with anything more than a knick or bruise isn't playing. Too much is at stake.

How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, 'n' how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, 'n' how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea?
Yes, 'n' how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?
Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn't see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

Oh come on guys, I didnt think the Pack would lose to the Bears, so I thought we would have to play our starters the Skins game and possibly get dinged up even more, potentially lose to Wash, and "limp" into the playoffs.

Since GB lost we can rest our injured players and pull our starters early, knowing we have HFA locked up. Now it's not about "limping" into the playoffs. We have it locked up so its all about resting, regrouping, and getting this ring. I'm not as bad as some of you guys think, really.

The "chicken littles" who are doing the DOUBTING on this board are FAKE Cowboys fans(i.e. Eagles fans in disguise).

Just FYI.

Romo is going to probably play a half and then yield to Brad Johnson. I suspect Marion Barber will get his 1,000 yards and then yield to Julius Jones or Tyson Thompson (is he still on the roster) in the second half.

Terry Glenn may get valueable playing time throughout the game, and then we gradually start resting our starters on offense. Defense, we probably pull Newman by the second half and rest any other starters that may have some nicks and bruises.

Yes TT is still on the team. I'd play Romo in the first quarter and that's it IMHO. I wouldn't even play TNew. Maybe sit Henry as well. I doubt Glenn does much as he can't even get through a practice right now.

As far as MBIII, he'll get his 19 yards like you say, then he's DONE! i hope...

I say give JJ, Hurd, Austin, Stanback, Fasano, Curtis, and the reserve OL a ton of playing time.

Let Romo, Witten, MB3, Flozell, Bigg, Newman, and Henry have a break.

Let TO, Romo, Flozell, Newman, Henry, Glenn and some of the other dinged players have the next two weeks to rest and heal from those nagging injuries......continue to practice though, but no need to go all out in a meaningless game.
