You can trade for one player

If you could trade for one player right now, who would it be, what would you give up, and why?

Has to be somewhat realistic; Seattle isn't giving up Richard Sherman, etc.

I'll try to be a tad more realistic. I'd like to see what Marinelli could do with the athleticism of Cornelius Washington for a 7th round pick. The guy is a beast physically, he just hasn't put it all together and Marinelli is the type of coach that might be able to up the mental side of his game.

A lot of unrealistic posts in here. You guys really think the Panther's are going to give up Keuchley? The Colts are going to give up Andrew Luck?

I'd trade for Suh. Don't think it'd take a first and there were already rumors out there anyway.

If we're going to fantasy land, I'd say Earl Thomas. Best FS in the game. Hell, I'm still annoyed we didn't/couldn't sign Weddle when he was available, that would have answered FS.

Trades rarely happen in the nfl anyway, so why not have some fun with it.

Considering how important the D-Line is to Marinelli's defense, how much the defense needs to improve, and how important I think attitude will be in turning around this defense, I'll go with N. Suh.

Him at the 1-tech and Melton at the 3-tech would be a nightmare for opposing QB's. With that kind of push up the middle of the line, QB's wouldn't be able to step up into the pocket at all and Mr. Lawrence would probably have a fantastic rookie season getting to the QB.

why does everybody always want to mortgage the future for these 1 player away guys? Try trading player for players vs "next years picks". Thank goodness Jerry is doing the GMing rather than some of these scenarios.

Yes because he is a great GM...

It is not good to give up high round picks for veterans that will take up significant cap space.

Either get cheap talent with the draft pick or use cap space on a free agent.

I would consider trading away some veterans. Last year the Patriots might have given up a decent draft pick or young defensive player for Witten. This year somebody might give up a 4th for Bruce Carter...who are the ILBs for New Orleans?

Cameron Wake for a 2015 2nd or 3rd
or
Daquan Bowers for a 2015 5th or 6th
or
Calais Campbell for a 2015 2nd

i trade for any player that stops people from having some strange desire to trade for players.

outside of the cap problem, if you think Suh was penalized in Detroit what do you think would happen in Dallas?
