You cannot give up drafts and be a good team

Look at all NFL teams draft history. See how many teams had a draft were they missed and ended up with nothing but backups. Look at how it effected the team years later. It almost always has a lingering effect that hurts the team.

My problem with the Cowboys is they gave up on the draft. They thought the team talent was so good they could trade down and draft ST players. This is a bad idea and may costs the team for years.

None of the starters were really in any jeopardy of losing their jobs, so there was no chance we could have gotten a starter anyway for this year. Maybe down the road.

Well, Jerry had all that money tied up into the new stadium, so he didn't have the money to pay them or sign quality players to help the team.

A lot of folks liked some wide receivers in this draft.

Johnny Knox springs to mind.

A guy with his speed looks pretty good right about now.

Yup like drafting a kickoff specialist in the fifth round, instead of Knox, Munnerlyn, Mike Thomas or Collie...four guys who were mentioned over and over again on these boards.
