You cannot win consistently with a Predictable Offense!

Except for the last two drives, where we had to pick up the tempo. Our methodical, predictable, and boring offense ran the ball almost every time I thought they would( usually on 1st and 2nd down) and threw the ball when I thought they would ( usually 3rd and long). Our Offensive line is not good enough to run when everyone knows we are running and pass when everyone knows we are passing. Blame the O line for the lack of production in the run game and for all the holding penalties, BUT blame the idiotic Offensive coaching staff for being so darn PREDICTABLE. This team is to predictable to win consistently, but we already know that!!!

Throughout the game, except the last 2 drives, Garrett and Linehan were agonizingly predictable. When the other team knows what you are going to do it makes it so much more difficult to do. We consistently ran on 1st and 2nd down into 8-9 man boxes. Then we were forced to throw the ball on 3rd and short or medium. Washington’s D played the run on 1st and 2nd down with 8-9 guys in the box, then played the pass on 3rd down. We made it easy for Washington. They played their run techniques on 1st and 2nd down and their pass techniques on 3rd down. Our O couldn’t overcome our predictable play calling. There were very few holes for Zek on early downs. On 3rd down the O line was not holding up. Giving up holding penalties, sacks or pressures. Could you EVER see Belicheat coach a game like this. If Belicheat knows another team is consistently stacking the box he’s not going to run into a brick wall! Why do we? We must have a new HC and OC that takes what the defense gives. Our Offense truly is coached like a High School Team with more talent than the other team. That does not consistently work in the NFL. You have to out coach and out scheme other teams in the NFL, and not be predictable!!!!!!!

Jourdain Lewis on the offense told me a lot too. This team is looking for gimmicks while being undisciplined.

This team is terrible to watch.

On top of that the body language of the players is terrible.

Zeke looks terrible. Beasley catches the ball and falls down immediately (though he played well).

There are just zero play makers on this team.

You can't win consistently with a terrible GM, awful Director of Personnel, weak head coach and a bad starting QB.

This staff is stuck in it’s ways and not changing soon.

You watch the Chiefs and they are getting receivers open with no one within five-seven yards of them on a regular basis. Part of this is the dynamic ability of those players, but much of it is scheme as well.

Take a look at how Gurley is used and compare with Zeke. They look like they are playing different sports.

Garrett explained their logic once on running so much on 1st downs, and it was what you would expect... The old school out of date mentality that a run on first sets you up better for second and third downs in terms of playcalling.

The obvious problem is we live in a age with analytics and mass media and everyone on earth inlcluding the opposing defense knows what you are doing. This worked in the 90's because the talent gap was so large.

Does not help at all when the formation itself gives it away. We go from 4 wide passing to Jumbo. Gee I wonder what we are doing?

Watch the Pats. Can you predict with as much certainty when they are running the ball? I sure can't... Now why?

I said last week that this team needed to bring the game they played against the Jags to Washington in order to win. That did not happen. Instead, they reverted back to the same old vanilla offense they've had in 5 prior games.

Prescott is not a pocket passer yet again, that was their game plan yesterday. What a stupid team we root for.
