David Tyree-WR- Giants Sep. 7 - 10:54 am et

In addition to the Ravens, the Chiefs and Rams have also shown interest in free agent WR David Tyree.

Tyree isn't going to be a significant factor at wide receiver, but he can double as a special teamer. As a vested veteran, he'll likely have to wait until after Week 1 when contracts are no longer guaranteed.

Brian Brohm-QB- Packers Sep. 7 - 11:04 am et

According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, five teams inquired about Brian Brohm for their practice squad.

Brohm chose to stay with the Packers because he knows the system. Maybe he could have used a fresh start, but decided to stick with the team that drafted him in the second round. "We haven’t given up on him, and I don’t think he has given up, either," said general manager Ted Thompson.

and dont forget about bomar qb that the giants released, not sure which team signed him though if a team did;

We added Everette Pedescleaux? That's a guy I wanted us to take late.

Marlon McCree might not have been a bad pickup for some depth at safety.

doubtful... 5'11", 212 lbs.

That's not gonna work is it? :eek::

The Cowboys fullback doesn't have to be huge so I thought he might fit the H-back mold a lil bit ... decent inside runner with good hands. Too small tho. Ok.

When I looked it up, he was actually bigger than I thought he would be. :)

I had this image in my head he was super-tiny remembering the Fiesta Bowl against OU a few years back. Guess he's bulked up a bit since then.

If the Cowboys are collecting hard hitting hard working ST players then Zack Follett is a no brainer. He also fills a need at backup at BOTH ILB and OLB. You cannot have enough "all out players".

I would also sign Kolo Kapanui to the PS. Chandler is a Rodney Hannah type TE (more of a WR), Kapanui is more like Philips, he can line up at TE, split wide, run & block out of the backfield. At 6'3 265, he is built more like a FB. Any injuries to the first 3 TEs would limit the versatility/playcalling of the 2 TE attack.

I also like Marcus McCauley at corner, moreso than even Mickens (or Ball). Pannel Egboh has more athleticism than Dixon, and Zach Potter was a bigger playmaker. Potter is great at blocking FGs and passes too.

It would have been nice to bring in some more line backer prospect a long with o line men. Jamon Meredith would of been good same as mitch king and follet.

I love Mitch King's fire & athleticism too, but signing him to the 53 would not been in the Cowboys' best interest at this time, as he is still a project player. He would have been a great PS signing though.

Zack Follett on the other hand, would immediately bolster the special teams and LB depth. And a returner like Kory Sheets or Justin Miller would have been nice as well.
