So, I was just offered the choice of going to either v SD or v Philly.

While Philly will be a division rival, I would hate to go and it possibly be a meaningless game playoff wise. So I can't decide, what do ya'll think ?

Why not both? :)

I'd say SD if for no other reason you won't have to wait as long.

I would personally go to Philly.

But you could look at it like you can see us play Philly every year.

if we beat ny, the stadium is going to be rocking next week.

i would go to that game.

But the eagles game will have maybe the best crowd since the giants crowd.

The Philly game won't be meaningless. Even if the division is decided that game may still determine the final seeding for Dallas. Whether that is catching the Saints and Vikings are just battling for the #3 seed. It will matter.

I'd go see the SD game, but they both should be great.

Go to the earliest one, the SD game. You never know if you will get hit by a bus before the philly one, then you miss out.

I chose the Charger game, to me it was a no brainer since the odds are stacked against the last game of the season as being meaningless. Plus we have a history of blowing off our last game...

id go with San Diego, think of it this way, we wont get them back here for another 8 years, we get philthy here every year, plus i hope it will be meaningless as we will have clinched the third seed!

Right, If Dallas already gets the division by then, it could mean a lot to Philly for a playoff spot for them. And the incentive for Dallas would be 2 things. Revenge of last year, and knock them out and not to possibly face them in the playoffs the following week. As someone in another thread mentioned.

Eagles. Division title may be on line and tough we beat them last month, we still owe them for 2006, 2007, 2008

I would go to the Chargers game. I went to the Cowboys//Redcoats game a couple years ago when we were 13-2 and it ended up being a pointless "let's try to win, but not really because we're already the number 1 seed in the playoffs and when the Redcoats blow us out, we'll just pull all our starters and pretend we never intended to win the game in the first place" game. Huge waste of money!

Although I doubt this years game against Philly will be that type of game, it very well could turn out that way if we put ourselves in a good situation the next few weeks.

I would probably go to the Philly game.... but only because it's my birthday. That could make or break a birthday though.

Definitely a tough decision though here. I've actually never been to a game against another NFC East rival, and I think it would definitely be a better atmosphere. I think there is a VERY slight chance that the Philly game will mean absolutely NOTHING to us, so I think that's what I would probably choose. I think the more you hate an opponent, the more fun it is to watch a game. And the win is that much sweeter.
