This is preseason people which means things are preplanned...certain packages..personnel....they dont gameplan and they really dont adjust to the game...they dont care if they win...even if this was a dress rehearsal...

Felix Jones' packages werent on display and neither were alot of things they are going to do...on offense and defense....On Offense I felt we owned them if it were not for a fluke interception and fumble....And Felix and Bennett werent even in there like they will be come the real season....

On defense I dont know about you but we were around every ball that was thrown and that was without a strong passrush which I know we will have come the real season...players will be moved around, they will have different blitzes...and as far as zone...dont you think they had them in that to work on it? why wouldnt they work on thing we cant do to get better at it?

come on guys wake up! the only thing you need to worry about is kickoff coverage, thats it...thats what needs to be fixed that's broke....nothing else....domination is on the horizon people....

Preseason doesn't mean our kick coverage should be so poor nor does it mean that our D should play so soft. The fumbles and stuff we need to see better execution from backs up and such so on and so forth.

i agree, special teams needs help but if you guys couldnt see us dominating with our first team out there you are crazy...i forgot THAT mario williams and that big NT WERE EVEN in the game with ryans and the others...they were manhandled people...manhandled...now romo threw a pick or we are up 14....we would have won by 24 to 28 points if it was a real game....its preseason...our guys know it....anyone who has watched football knows what to look for in preseason....

last night you guys saw a few things if you really would have looked, they are:

us being around the ball everytime it was thrown in the first half...when was the last time that happened? superbowl years

us providing a pretty good passrush...that has been going on for sure the past year or two...but it happened in the superbowl years

us providing mamouth holes for the rb to run through....by the way that happened in the superbowl years...

they couldnt move the ball ON US in the first half for most of it...-HAPPENED IN THE Superbowl years

almost had a bunch of pics...superbowl years....

kick coverage sucked....once we replace a few players that we KNOW can do it we will be ok....its not the kicker either,,,it may be the coach too

romo was on target- superbowl years....aikman like

puntreturning....pretty much know that pacman can and may take it to the hoUSE everytime....when was the last time that happened...deion- superbowl years....

dont worry people....things are shaping up just like the superbowl years...now we may need to switch coaches to get it done but at least the players are here...you are only as good as your backups...i do this every year....look at it now...

That is not always true - but very hard for us to tell. It depends on what the Coaches where doing on both sides of the ball and trying to accomplish.

For example -

If we went completely vanilla on offense, showed nothing, just basic packages, and ran up and down the field on them that is a good sign. Wait until the real stuff comes. But it also depends on what the Texans Defense was doing.

On defense, the coaches may know zone is our weak spot and wanted to take one more looksy, but we may go man to man with blitz packages left and right when it becomes real. If that is the case then really what happened last night really does not mean much if we did not blitz much and where in zone coverages.

See that is the problem with Pre-Season, you just dont know what the real objectives are for either team, too many different things involved besides just playing to WIN the game.

Some things could be a good sign, others could mean very little, it just depends.
