I mean im as down on Dak as the next guy but why do people want to move on so quick?

Goff looked like a dead turd out there last year and look at him now. Dak played bad for stretches but its not like the guy doesn't have a good work ethic. You guys think hes not gonna get Better?

Say what you want but he wasn't a polished passer in college. He came into the NFL and produced with literaly raw talent. Can we give him some time to do something before we give up on a potential good talented player?

Am I really in the minority when I say dak played bad but hes shown enough going forward. Give him a legit qb coach, let him work on his craft and give him some Better weapons and see what happens.

I think he'll come out next year and shut everyone up. I still believe in him. I agree that he's shown enough, but not many QB's can play well when their backside isn't protected.

Our WR's are partially to blame too. I have been the biggest Dez supporter, but I am finally fed up with him. He's paid like a top WR, and he just isn't one anymore. He needs to be cut.

He can and will get better provided we have a new playcaller next year.

One only has to look at the scheme Mullen used at MSU for Dak to be successful

Why don’t we ever go out and get veteran WR and tight end help. Guys like Ted Gynn are are always out there.

I’m not sure what Goff was working with..

but what is clear here is Dak is hesitating on throws and holding of to the call way too long, despite WRs being open. He’s not anticipating and unlike RG3 getting who didn’t even go past his first progression, Dak does but refuses to throw WRs on anticipation.

He’s actually struggled as more responsibility was given to him.

Better hope so or the search for the next franchise an could end up being a 10+ year search. When you have the #4 pick, a geriatric qb and 2 great looking prospects sitting there spend the needed resources to get one!

I love Dak, the teammate on and off the field. I'm all for his success for this team and him. However I suddenly see a lot of Tebow in Daks play. Mechanics, confusion, timing. He's been in the system for 2 seasons and looks playing like a rookie first week in camp.
Now what has JG and Co. done to help him with adjustments? I don't know, and that just might be what he needs is help from the staff to simplify "the process". If not, I think he's done.

It’s going to sound like a cliche or a broken record but here it goes..

The Coaches are trying to force him to be something he is not exclusively..

Plus our receivers are either banged up or washed up..

Dak wins 4 more games that we lost if he just simply played his game. There were so many wasted opportunities in the past 6 games where if Dak had just taken off and picked up the first down the entire outcome of the games would be different.

He’s not a pure pocket passer, he needs to be encouraged to just take off once more often than a while..

If you want Tom Brady he is not that guy, he is more Russell Wilson....

the next season will tell what he is if he is a bust then the cowboys could search for lots years for a qb without a good qb you are burnt toast in this league

Based on what? Going to the Pro Bowl and winning Offensive Rookie of the Year? Having the #3 passer rating in the NFL in 2016?

Seems like his ceiling is plenty high. The question is if he can get back to that level or not.

That was the team that was at a high level, not him.

He's a middling QB at best. That doesn't mean his numbers won't look better than middling with a great team. However, that team would have to be much better than they were last year to do it again.

He doesn't have "it." He didn't last year.

He will have some new WRs to play with next year and a new OC along with some real Left Tackle depth. So, yes, he will improve next year and the peanut gallery will magically dissolve.
