for all the flak TO keeps getting for not being a team player, and bla bla bla, the crap the media shoves down our throat everyday. I went back and looked at the clip of JJ's TD (THank Tech)

You can see TO talking to Gurode, wile the medical staff is on the field tending to him, then talking to him the whole way off the field.

Now hopefully TO wasnt say get your fatt butt of the ground and play soem ball, a little blood doesnt hurt anyone, but i seriously dont think TO is this crazed deranged Player that cares for no one, but himself and is looking to take down anyone who comes in contact with him.

I would just like to say that a drunken Yakuza Rich pointed this out on this very board after the game.

It also took the devil 8 games to start showing his true face as an Eagle. For the 7 games before Eagle fans were saying the same things about him that we are now saying.

Just something to remember down the line, hope I'm wrong but history has taught me to be cautious.

I'm with you. He's played nice thus far, but I don't forget history. He was loved in Philly for a long while.

TO was well liked by many of his teamates in philly. The war started between TO and management, many teamates were on TO's side. Part of the problem was that the TO and McNabb thing got personal. McNabb and Reid then sided with management against TO and there were players that still were really tight with TO.

That is what cause divided locker room and that is the point at which TO called McNabb a company man (which certainly isnt going to make McNabb a hero with some of the other teamates who also felt that eagles management was tightfisted and were siding with TO) There really was no resolution after that.

But really, things got way out of hand prior to that and no one had the sense to say, lets keep some of this private or lets talk and try to come to some reconsiliation. The eagles management decided to be ballbusters, The eagles management went right to the media as soon as there were rumors that TO and his agent wanted to renegotiate. And continued to keep the feud public until it was way to late.

That is why i laugh when i hear that TO ruined the year and ruined locker room chemistry.

I asked you about it in your thread. Guess you were too drunk to respond.:

Never looked like a non-team player to me from what I've seen.

No one at this point should doubt TO but for those who insist I only ask one thing, bring the popcorn this week, and you shall be rewarded. This is why we got this guy, if they double him Glenn will take it to the house. TO will make some plays himself, go Cowboys, bite me Eagles..

I was glad to see that as well and hope it continues but TO does have a long history of incidents it is not made up there are many examples of his actions. Thus far in Dallas we have not had any problems and I would love it to continue but I'm not blind to what I have witnessed in the past.

There must be something good about this guy when you see Michael Irvin, Deion and other ex-players and ex-teamates go to the wall for him.

I also noticed that outside of Hugh Douglas, Donovan McNabb and Jeff Garcia none of his former teammates have anything bad to say about him. As a matter of fact he has been referred to as a good teammate.

And to this day a lot of his teammates STILL SAY that Owens is a good teammate. I think a lot of it has to do with McNabb's ego and him not being able to share center stage, too.

Interesting point about this current Cowboy's team; outside of TO, there really aren't any big ego guys on the team.
Has this thought occurred to anyone else?
I don't know what it means but TO has always been on teams with at least one other big ego guy.
In SF there was Rice, and you could probably include Steve Young and Ken Norton Jr.
In Filthy, there was Mcnabb.
Dallas has some top notch talents - Roy, Tnew, Glenn, Witten, maybe include Bledsoe in there - but none of them seem to be egomaniacs.
