one of the hosts on Philly WIP afteroon talk radio (yes, Philly) says he will be rooting for the Cowboys after the Eagles lose to Dallas this Sunday evening because the Cowboys are the only team that can beat the Patriots and he hates the Patriots and everything they stand for that much :lmao2: .

No, I think the Colts have just a good a chance, they are playing pretty good football right now.

It is just amazing to hear a hardcore Philly fan says he is ready and willing to root for the Cowboys and declares that the Cowboys are the lesser of two evils among any team. He is taking alot of heat for it too.

They are opening up the phone lines now and some of the Philly fans are agreeing with him.

One Philly caller right now is saying, "The Cowboys will beat the Patriots".

I think the patriots are the most classless team in NFL history. Do they even have any role models like an Aikman or Emmitt for kids to look up to? They needlessly run up the score, and having had teams do that to us, it ain't cool. Their Coach is a tool. They are cheaters. Randy Moss most certainly isn't a role model, not saying that T.O is either. Brady, Mr. Personality, comes of as smug and arrogant. Going for it on 4th when they had a huge lead is really when I started to hate them. That is just so tacky, and there is no need to destroy a team. That's not what football is about.

I knew how much hate there was when I found myself rooting for the Eagles, Ravens, and Steelers -- three teams I can't stand -- in consecutive weeks like they were my own team.:

I rather see the Colts make it to the superbowl. I don't mind playing a quality team for the Bowl. I don't want the patriots record to get any better than it is, because I would hate to hear about them being the best team ever. It's bad enough Miami does that, but the pats are so arrogant that it would be worst.

I hate the Eagles the most, but if this year they would have made it to the superbowl :lmao:I woulda rooted for them if they played the Pats. :)

Before I realized a 18-0 and 17-1 Super Bowl is possible, I was rooting against them during every NFC East team. I didnt care. I rooted for the Skins, although loved their demoralizing loss, was hoping the Eagles could pull it off. They are my most hated team in sports right now.

Now I'm rooting for them for the rest of the year. I want the biggest and brightest stage for the upset in the biggest and most hyped game ever.

I think Miami beats them. :lmao2: 2 teams with perfect records :lmao:

How about when ESPN has an entire segment before the game about how people hate Bill Belichick? That's a pretty good sign. I was shocked it was actually airing.

I'll have to go see if I can find that online...

WOW- that is pure hatred and eerie because that's exactly how I feel!

I am trying to raise my kids with dignity, honor, respect and sportsmanship.

Now come and help me explain the Patriots to them.

Tell them to wrap it up or keep it in their pants.

This isn't too far-fetched of a notion either. If you think about it, the Colts knocked the Pats out last year so there's a psychological factor involved...AND the Colts had that game won against them this year if Wayne holds on to a perfectly thrown deep pass late in the 4th. They're getting Harrison back too and they are playing really well right now, while the aging Patriots could be fatigued that late in the season since they've been going full throttle since Cameragate.

Man! great minds think alike. I actually found myself rooting for the Eagles when they played the pats.

It pained me to actually become a Steeler fan last week.
