There's another 8 months before we get to watch meaningful Cowboys football again.

Meh, I could use the break, quite honestly. This season turned into a real beating. I'm not looking forward to any football any time soon.

Well, the draft is just a few months away and we do have two first round picks.

No one was going to beat the Pats anyway, so I'm not terribly upset. Sometimes, it's pretty clear which team is going to win the Super Bowl and it looks like this is the Pats year.

The 8 month break is the worst thing by far, a regular season loss sucks, but you know you can turn it around in a week. Here we have this one poor performance sitting in our minds for 8 months, two years in a row.

I hope the players stew themselves into a furor over this result and come back next September as the meanest, craziest, hardest group of sons of *****es this league has ever seen.

And I hope Jerry is sitting up alone in his room right now with all the lights off wondering how in the hell is he going to fix this team. And I hope he goes out this spring and does it. Somehow I know he will.

For some reason I have a feeling that this game is the reason Jason Garrett is our next head coach, and it's not because Wade is getting fired tomorrow.

The worst thing to me was losing it to the loud mouthed Giants. Granted, Crayton's the loud mouth of the season who's gonna be remembered the most for his "clutch" performance tonight, but with all the crap they talk and being a division rival, whooping them in the regular season again wont matter if we dont get another shot in the playoffs to do to them what they've done to us and the chances of that happening again isnt major.

I wouldn't mind if Wade just resigned and retired. I don't have anything against the guy, but he just doesn't seem like the kind of coach that will inspire a team in a way that wills them to victory. I'm not a huge fan of Belicheck but I like the fact that during a game you can see him on the sideline actually coaching individual players.

I could use the 8 month break after todays heartbreaker. Not going to watch the championship games, wont watch the Super Bowl either.

Well, he's now 0-4 in playoff games and just coached a No. 1 seed to a divisional round loss for the first time in modern NFC playoff history. I think that says a lot about the guy right there.

On the other hand, he helped author what was (for most of the season) an improved D and WAS the head coach for a whole lot of records set this year. This shouldn't be San Diego. You don't deserve to be fired after a 13-3 season.

Im looking foward to pulling for the Packer on Sunday, a real team that goes out and gives 100%, all season and all postseason and does do any of this December fade BS

I look forward to watching the remaining games in hopes that both Green Bay and NY get knocked out.

The most meaningful game will not be 8 months from now, it will be almost a year from now. The regular season means nothing to this franchise anymore. Its all about what this team does in the playoffs. We can cheer all season long and go crazy for another 13-3, but until they win a playoof game, I don't trust the game-quitters!!!!!!!!!

I kinda agree with you here it will be nice to not worry about it for a while. I'm a die hard Cowboys fan but I can get so worked up over a game that I don't even like me!!! Anybody else get like this?

NO...THE WORST PART of this loss is that ALL my 49er friends were rooting for the Giants to win the superbowl before this game and they ended up beating us....

TO ALL THE HOMETOWN DALLAS FANS WHO THINK OUT OF TOWNERS ARE NOTHING BUT BAND WAGONERS!! SCREW YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are SOME die-hard Dallas fans all over...& We take more heat than you during losses. Atleast you have Dallas friends to mend through the bad times.
