...I was at D/FW Airport once and an Aussie at the terminal seemed to ask:

"Where is Staubachs?"

I paused and slowly realized his accent was confusing me - he meant:

"Where is Starbucks?"

In the meantime, they need to get rid of these vans :D

You know you're a Cowboy fan if your team has a 21 point lead in the fourth quarter and you're still worried!
You know you're a Cowboy fan when you get blown out by 40 and it's a "morale victory".
You know you're a Cowboy fan when there's a random flag on the field and you're already yelling at Free, Carr, or Scandrick.
You know you're a Cowboy fan when your team scores 48 points and you still lose.
You know you're a Cowboy fan when one of your best players is the kicker ...
You know you're a Cowboy fan when your coach is smiling in the press conference after getting blown out by 40+ saying it's a "process".
You know you're a Cowboy fan when your Head Coach ices his own kicker.
You know you're a Cowboy fan when your're hoping your defense can hold the opposing team to 40 points.

your favorite team's record makes them irrelevant but the hate spewed your way suggests that they are in the midst of a dynasty.

You know you're a fan when , while watching th 'Boys play in th HallOf Fame preseason game you get a piece of steak stuck in your esophagus and cannot get it to come up or go down (problem started early first Qtr), but you watch the entire game before going to the emergency room to get it to finally go down at 3 am.

You know you are a true Cowboys fan when your first post on site is a rebuttal from Risen Star...followed by McLovin, Dodger12, and Stasheroo followed by a threat to bench for warming up the atmosphere, from BrainPaint...how could one be such a clutz?

LOL you made an entrance, I will give you that.

My first posting of length, was a pro Jerry OP, when the reading style of choice was a Cliff Notes version of the burn barrel hymnals.

What is funny now, was that I had been asked to do some articles for the Blotter Report but they expected me to continually crucify Jerry Jones along the lines of the present DMN. They gave me a line in the sand to either accept blaming Jerry or get banned...well, I never made it back.

You are a Cowboys fans when:
-When you applaud the entrance into the game of the opponents punter....... in the 4th quarter.
-When you spend all offseason killing the owner but are hair-trigger sensitive when a fan of another team does it.
When Washington fans can't criticize your owner

When you arrive to your wedding a few minutes later than the wife expected because you were watching part of the first quarter of a preseason football game.

C'mon man, get your priorities right!

I mean you only missed "a few minutes"? Shoot man, that wedding would've been postponed, preseason or not I'm watching my 'Boys!

when your first memory is watching the 'hail mary" game and knowing as a 8 year old...this team is special.

i chose that day to be a cowboy fan... even though we lived in the houston market and earl was on his way in 1978.

we had a run of success in the 70's and early 80's that was really something to witness.

the firing of landry..the way it was handled...you damn sure better believe you better be a true fan.

the glory years of the jimmy johnson years...then you know who squelched that.

and what we we have watched up till now.

i'm as true of a fan as you will ever meet no matter what jerry does...

i will say that when texas stadium was imploded....it hurt just a bit.

i will always love the cowboys no matter what...it was instilled in me from birth damn near.

it was easy for me to be a cowboy's fan back in the 70's and early 80's.

we were freaking bad ***!!

Back in the day when you held up rabbit ear antennas with tin foil on the tips...above your head .....for a whole game.....just to see Roger throw a td pass to Drew to beat the Rams in a playoff game.....all in black and white

When you laughed to yourself when you found out Jaques Reeves and Alan Ball were actually signed by other NFL teams after their stints here, and then felt a sense of justice that we weren't the only fan base who would be exposed to those clowns.

i remember watching tony dorsett on a small tv in my parent's bedroom with rabbit ears playing with pittsburgh on a snowy picture going...this dude is bad to the bone.

when we somehow got him to be a cowboy...it made me very happy..

i to this day have not seen a rb with the fluid style and acceleration that man had.

.... When you have to explain to other fans of your team that 8-8 for 3 seasons is not the definition of any "process" that has a reasonable chance of success
