It was always quality over quantity. In other words, if they signed two really good FAs early that's better than signing 6 JAGs early. But that's what they have done here and think they've bucked the whole not active claim.

I think the entire angle that the Cowboys monitor fan complaints to the degree that they plot out elaborate, self-defeating, plans to confound the masses is nothing more than fan fic navel gazing.

Anyone who has known powerful, high level decision makers, knows that they do what they want based on their own agendas and inform those agendas with the ideas and opinions of those they know .

It’s just in our case, the high powered decision makers and their advisors are not good at the team building part of the job.

They don’t play footsie in online “will he won’t he” relationships with internet fandoms.

When FA started we couldn't even field a football team. They've added several pieces, most very low risk high reward. With comp picks team had 10 draft picks.

After trades they landed a CB and a LB and still have 10 draft picks. Both positions of need.

But sure pop off that you're important enough for not only Jerry to hear you, but then for him to troll you with FA signings.

Read this list......... it seems their new strategy is to focus on busted players drafted fairly high and hopefully hit on a few. Not bad as long they use it in perspective and do NOT try to use to build but supplement. This league is loaded with B players hungry to prove themselves ....... I can see taking a low risk on 5-6 players per year. High reward-low risk......

That definitely does seem to be the strategy. And I see nothing wrong with giving high draft picks a try when you are not relying on them significantly. I'd find those efforts palatable if they'd make one or two moves that clearly improve the team.
