The Cowboys lose this weekend and the Records will be Commanders- 66-75-1 and the Cowboys would be 63-79 (over that time span). Neither impressive but lets not pretend that the Cowboys have been kicking *** over the past few years either.

No one said they have been. Just that they've been better than the Commanders when it comes to head to head matchups.

The way a lot of the fans over at extremeskins talk, it's as if they've been competitive in each and every one of the match ups for the past 16 games in which they've lost. But, they haven't.

If I was a Commanders fan, I would take the past four victories with a grain of salt. They've all been against teams that are bad recordwise.

At least Cowboys fans have history to lean back on and say we've won 14 of the past 16 games, and our team has gotten better each of the three years of Parcells' tenure. Yes, the Commanders have too (on offense), but they've also gotten worse (on defense).

I'm not one to trash talk. I never have. Nor am I one to be overconfident because I know anything can happen in the NFL, just like in life in general.

But overconfidence, IMO, is not something that should be exhibited on the Commanders fans' side. At least I can understand it, from a logical perspective on the Cowboys fans' side.

HH, I had you on ignore for quite a while, then I read a few of your posts quoted by other members and decided to give you a second chance.

You want to list facts ? Tell me how many times the Commanders have faced the Cowboys in the playoffs ? How many times did the Cowboys win ?

I am the first one to admit that the Commanders have under-performed, over-performed, or even just got lucky.

You come into FedEx this weekend expecting a gimme and you might be startled.

Gimme a break with all of the high and mighty Cowboys crap. BOTH of the franchises have been terrible over the past few years. Finally both teams have some light ahead in the tunnel and you want to try to somehow propose that the Cowboys have been a better team over the past few years.

Reality is over that time span the Commanders even as a crappy team have outperformed your beloved Cowboys.

Now is now. Right now the Commanders are 1 game behind the Cowboys. The Commanders beat the Cowboys on the night of the triplets induction. The Commanders were expected by most to have no more than 6 wins this year. The Cowboys were maybe around 9 wins behind the Eagles.

We all see how that turned out.

Indeed, if the mighty Muleshoe Mules happened to lose to the Friona Chieftans 14-16 games, I would even admit to domination. 87.5 % winning percentage against your biggest rival is just ownage.
