I havent been to the Coliseum since 1992... and that place was a huge dump then. Im sure it is worse now. I bought my tickets at basically the second that ball hit those bars in Chicago yesterday. As soon as my purchase was complete, ticket prices started soaring. I paid 320 dollars WITH fees per ticket. Same section today is starting at $600.

Parking sucks. There are no cash lots, so guess what that means? People buy up all parking permits and then rush to resell sites to fleece us there also. How about $150 and up if you want a lot where you can tailgate. So I just changed my plans on tailgating and will now just hit a sports bar for the early game. Tailgating is very different than at AT&T. Here , check out these rules.... and you think Jerry is discouraging tailgating.....

Should just stay home if it's sucks so bad or just go to the game.
Salud, hope the game experience is better than the parking.

..I think that might be called "Prison Tailgating".. ;)..

I will be tailgating at home. Not dealing with any rules or overpriced tickets or parking. Good luck to you though sir.

Same. I'm about 2 hours away in San Diego, but have no desire to go to the game. Much better to enjoy the game from the comfort of your own home, imo.

Only sporting events I actually enjoy at a stadium are baseball games.

And because it’s California, absolutely no straws!!!!

The stadium is just outside of Watts - you think that they may not want open flames going in that area?

This is about the same list they have in Buffalo lol

dont go anymore-watch on TV and save $1000
I remember when you could go to the stadium and park for (gulp) $15 or $20, get tickets (at work or at stadium) for $50-75, beers around $8-$10. Stadiums weren't the attraction they are today but noone cared, everyone was there for the game-not stadium. Use to easily go to 4-5 games year. now a game every few years if u want to spend the money. Didnt like to see Chargers leave but with the option of higher taxes for something you get nothing for and list of rules that would come as u listed dont really mind

I'm also in San Diego and just like the OP, I was also at that game vs the Raiders in 92. 70-80% Cowboy fans, massive crowd, Cowboys 6-1 and then crushed the Raiders, it was beautiful. I'm glad I went but traffic was an absolute nightmare and that was in 92.

Some tailgaters are annoying , a lot of times they take up too many spots, leave trash all over the place when they leave, my aunt had a windshield bust by a drunk tailgater. Maybe there's been issue as to why they discourage it.

The hanging out with friends all day before the game is half the fun. FOX news caught up with our tailgate. Trust me... I have many friends now that I would never have met if it wasnt for tailgates. I got parking for 10 bucks and light rail to game. No tailgate this time. Just a sports bar for early game.

I paid $550 per ticket with fees. Like you I hit the purchase button when the ball hit the crossbar. My tickets now sell for $1400 a piece.

I will have free parking in my garage, excellent and affordable food and drink (excessive consumption of alcohol is not only encouraged but required) and I can light up whatever the hell I want and if there's a wait in one bathroom, I can go to the other and no one will be trying to sneak peeks at my tallywacker.

I can cuss freely and do so often and after the game I can just do something else, I do not have to get into traffic to do it. If the game gets out of hand, I can just cuss a few more times and watch something else in defiance.

Open flames are not only allowed but encouraged and I often shoot flaming arrows out onto the boulevard...….trying to light the grill.

If I get to missing that live pre game feel, I can always tailgate a funeral in the afternoon.

Well for me, there is nothing like going tot the games. Staying at home is just...... staying at home. Do you order your steak to be delivered to your house also? We flew in this past weekend on Friday. Partied all weekend. Sunday we hit Texas live and were there all day watching the Sunday games with the friends we have made from tailgating. One of the guys is from Toronto and he is flying out for this game as well.

Last time I attended a game there was the 92 season when we beat the Raiders...there were at least 40,000 Cowboys fans in that stadium...I LOVED IT!?!

That sounds like fun, but the OP made it sound like a pain in the butt. Dealing with parking etc is par for the course. I'm just gonna stay home and smoke a side of beef and drink a bottle of Grey Goose!

Lol?

The vast majority of these are standard at any stadium or just plain common sense.
