Here it is...Wade, you want a team? Tomorrow is your last chance. You lose that, and you have lost your war for a head coaching job. You have then lost any credability in Dallas. Your team has been continually insulted, belittled, and challenged by any and all comers to show up and fight. For three straight years, they have failed. That is now upon YOU. IF, your team loses against New Orleans, no matter how many 'swell' excuses you wish to humbly throw up in defense of yourself, you will have lost any and all credability from that point onward. No matter that you have two remaining games in YOUR season, it will be over, and the fat lady has sung. Win, and you have an inside straight to put your chips upon....lose tomorrow, and you can't bluff a mule. You have managed to the tune of Murphy's Law, and it has kicked your posterior.

Your offensive coordinator has run and dodged any and all consistency in preserving for that special and one situation in a game, where he could be all cerebral and look the part of an intelectual. Well, those all ran up against old Murphy and lost as well.

Well, this game, the preparation of New Orleans for a desperate team BETTER be way off base. No, YOUR team better be full of all the insult, put downs, and lack of guts displayed....and they had better been lead by yourself, to be rip snorting ANGRY for this game.

Anything short of total throw down by YOUR team, and Murphy has kicked your unmanaging backside. You either lead, follow, or get out of the way...and a head coach led by his owner isn't worth his salt in today's NFL. No matter how much one wants to put his heart into your projected success.

I hope you are not truely lacking and possessing a grand case of professional naivetee in how to lead, and not cope. We shall see tomorrow night... but don't YOU forget, that we fans know what the Cowboys are all about, and it doesn't involve hoping for a magical moment. We shall see.

I hope Wade proves me wrong, but I expect to see the same **** that we have seen the past 3 years when "almost" everything is on the line. Comming up small in a big spot.:banghead:

It seems that Jerry is actually content to find the neat jingle that sparkles the brightest and stick with that instead of seeing that fibers of success were strained and refined. Talent is all important only when applied. Here, evaluations in effectiveness have not been scrutinized nearly as much as system surviveability. There, the fans have bought faithfully...but that has grown short, due to succeess not being watered in the mean time. For Detroit, that might be acceptable, but in Dallas, it goes against grain too much. Jerry's ears had best be getting sore from the cries of despair in his own franchise. I like Jerry, but things best be settled this game, as credability will have walked right on by his management skills and positioning as well. He has sought ought the best of advice, but not used it the best around the league. This is an important game for his credability as well....and he has given a wealth of direction up to here. It goes to the base of management itself. Accountability, is not merely ownership...

I don't see how losing to an undefeated, favored, team on their home field could ever be the straw that broke the camel's back. Come on....every team in the NFL would be expected to lose this game.

What if Wade and staff does the best coaching job in history (just theory here..lol) and the team still loses the game? These ultimatums sometimes make no sense.

I've never understood why coaches, in this case Wade, remain with the status quo when the writing is so clearly on the wall.

Wade always says that he's not going to change (that is, until Jerry made him say he was going to change), but why not go out guns-blazing when the status quo is surely not getting it done?

I'm not talking about the man's personality, but the the way he, and the team, goes about business.

Now, I'm not suggesting running the fumblerooski on every play, but why not crank up the unpredictability on offense and defense?

Perhaps not so many draw plays on second down, or maybe actually applying press coverage on third down or even blitzing the majority of the time (live and die by the blitz, a la the Eagles)?

Again, it's fairly apparent that missing the playoffs or one and done will be the end of Wade's HC career, so why not put up a heck of a fight instead of quietly riding off into the sunset?

and i'll never understand why people think what they see should be just as clear to everyone else and they should see it the same way.

No, that's not what's involved at all. To be the best or even among the best, you have to show up and win the tougher games. NOT because they are tough, but because the better teams do just that. If the leadership, despite a good group of talented players, continually fails to direct his team to success in such key and transitional points, then those failures DO define abilities and success as well. This doesn't go to character of the man coaching, but it does indicate his value in a position. Liking or even wanting a person to succeed, is not the business side of the sport. Winning is the bottom line, and if you can't manage the transitions, then they manage you and your team. This is the issue. This is a turning point, and if not managed, no matter what excuse is offered, IS the issue. The team will NOT overcome this blow, if this game isn't won...and that shall prove out if it fails here. Wait and see. The dye as to merit of leadership has already been demonstrated, and wishful thinking won't save the day. This part of the season, the black 'n blue month of December has to be earned. Even the low-win teams fight hard now, and they have to be beaten. That takes leadership, not just a talented team. We shall see...as Wade and Jason have talent, but that doesn't mean it will be applied effectively. We shall see...and hope for now.

???

Just an opinion man, not a mandate.

Just wondering if I was the only one.

If my job was on the line, instead of doing the same thing over and over and over again with the same results (see: Wade's career and the Cowboys decade long failure in December), I might actually try something different with a chance at better results.

Perhaps that's just me.

I hear what you are saying. but once, just once I would like to see the

Cowboys win a game that they might loose or should loose. It allways the

same thing with us in big games.

Playoff game vs. giants = loss,

Last game at Texas Stadium = loss.

1st game at new Cowboy Stadium = loss,

Game vs Green bay game this year = loss

Giant game this year, when we could of almost killed there playoff chances and helped ours = loss

Just once I would like to see them respond with a win, in a big spot.
