We can't run the ball or stop the run. End of story. When Quinn adjusts to stop the run, we don;t get pressure or turnovers. When he adjusts to get pressure or stop the QB, they run all over us. Green Bay threw and ran on us at will.

We need to get bigger and Quinn seems to be against that, even asking Mazi to lose 30 lbs. I understand getting Mazi down to maybe 315 or so , but at 293 he isn't used to playing at that weight and he gets pushed around. Why would you draft a 330 lbs NT and ask him to get down to 293? Let's get him up to 350 while getting him in the weight room. He will never be a 3T because he is so slow getting off the snap.

Yes and no. A bigger run support oriented defense would solve many issues. But run game and offensive line still have lots of issues. No matter what the regular season brings, I think we have a real problem now with our franchise quarterback being a choker in big games.

Agreed. But also a CLUELESS owner/GM. A coach who can't game manage or get his team up for a playoff game. A DC who has no clue in BIG games....I could continue.....

The defense has been the number one reason we keep failing in the playoffs. Go review our playoff losses the past 20 years and it’s been mostly because of the defense. We can’t get turnovers or make stops. If we’re not getting destroyed on the ground, it’s through the air. Our defenses have been dreadful in the playoffs.

I said even if they had given Dez the catch, Mr. State Farm still had over a minute to get the pack in FG range (and kickers never miss against the boys, don’t think we blocked a FG since Too Tall Jones was here), and we couldn’t stop him on one leg the whole game.

Plenty of teams have won the game when the other team scored first. Few teams win giving away multiple turnovers and 14 points.

Every team left in the playoffs have a better defense then Dallas. I told you guys all season this defense was "All Done with Mirrors". Well. The mirror finally broke last Sunday. No q.b. in the league can be down by 27 before halftime and come back and win...Mahomes to Jackson. And both of these guys have WAY better defenses than Dallas have. Especially when the playoffs start. Your GM sat on his azzz all season long and did NOTHING to strengthen the defense even when injuries occurred. We needed a run stopping guy and we get Mazi? Really? That's your response to a defense that gets pushed around by any other team that wants to play physical with it. Same with the weakazzz Oline. Martin- All Pro Old azz Smith. Only guy they were truthful about was Micah who didn't get the reward. All I hear is Dak...Dak-Dak-Dak-He must be a love doll to some in here. Mahomes-Jackson -any other quarterback left in the the NFL would of lost also Sunday because of this fragile defense. I say it once. I 'll say it forever until Dipazz Jones fix it. NO DEFENSE-NO RINGS!!!!! I don't care who you get at quarterback!! Get a REAL defense -with REAL dominate players!! You build your team on Dak save us!! You DESERVE just what you GET and what you GOT!!!

All 3 phases **** the bed on Sunday.

Fix everything.

Offense had no rhythm or consistency. Dak threw two picks that resulted in TDs, one directly for a score.
Defense looked like the preseason units.

The whole team needs to improve and the staff we have isn’t capable. We need a terrorist who have the players scared to commit a penalty, miss an assignment. We need a jimmy type guy who not only instills a sense of fear but also is a motivator.

Yup, it's common for the receiving team to drive down the field and score, before the D has time to adjust and such. If that's what caused Dak to curl up in a fetal position, then he really needs to go.

Hey fellow Cowboys fans....I think most of these guys just don't even care. Michael Irvin told a story about how he told Jimmy which players to keep versus the ones who didn't care when Jimmy first came. He said it was after a huge loss that he was sitting in his locker crying and one guy came up and said " don't worry about it- and don't forget to pick up that Big check on Tuesday" Irvin said that guy was the first one on the list to get cut

I’ve never like MM but I think he did help improve the team this year for most of the year. But early on the dink and dunk with continued running right up the middle was nuts. Then he seemed to figure it out until the playoffs and it was run everytime you use 12 and even the announcers caught on the that. He’s just not creative, a motivator or able to make in game adjustments. Quinn is great when we have a lead we’re he can just go after people, yet against GB they set in zone most of the time and got no pressure. I think it’s time to clean house and take a serious look at every option to add better, smarter players who want it more

Imho Defense is what really hurt us on Saturday. Could every phase have been a lot better? Absolutely, but if our defense keeps them from scoring every time, they touch the ball those two nasty picks are manageable and may have put us in a better position where Dak is not throwing so risky trying to save the day. Not trying to make excuses for Dak as I really do feel like he has had enough time to get a ring but the Defense didn't do squat all day. DQ has got to go at the very least and we need someone who can help us stop the run.
