It's just hours away, we've waited months that have felt like years. Those months have had some great draft prospect debates, unfortunate news regarding players on our Defense along with some sunshine predictions to offset the suspensions.

Pick "only" 3 bullet point you want to see in TC. This means zero roster moves. What players do you want to see develop? Or what player do you want to see move up the depth chart? Or what skillset are you looking for from some of our draft picks and UDFA's?

•Tapper showing he can play RE and be an every down DE, along with showing a base to hold up to being run at
•Dak pushing Keller
•Brice showing up to be this year's Laurent

  • Not specific to one player, but any player stepping up to be a pass rusher. But I will say I am looking at Irving more than any other player.
  • Rod Smith to show why they need a FB , and to show we finally have the best FB since Moose.
  • Byron Jones, and how his playing a true FS postion, effects the defense in general, therefore allowing others to focus on their own positions and jobs.

  • Romo returning to 2014 form or better ( if possible)
  • One or two of the DEs having their way w Tyron. Getting past him consistently.
  • All of our draft picks in action

1. I'd like to see a successful pass rush by not just one or two but several of our youngsters with a fairly decent degree of regularity.

2. Get the front seven to stuff the run significantly better than had been the case in 2015. We also need to find a MLB to take charge.

3. Want our defensive backfield to improve with Claiborne and Carr covering well and for Byron Jones to do likewise at free safety.

1) Creativity. Creativity from the coaching staff and especially Garrett. At this point, I would accept running a screen pass more that 7 times a year as 'creative' for Garrett. Offensive coordinators come and go but for some inexplicable reason, the Cowboys refuse to use the screen pass. The offense has become stale even with Romo at the helm. I wasn't impressed with the offense even when Romo was running it last year against the NYG, Philly, and Miami. Romo put up 6 points (?) against a horrible Philly defense last year.

2) DB Philosophy Change. A complete defensive back philosophy change. I can't take any more of CBs playing 5-7 yards off even on 3rd and short. While speaking of CBs, I hope there is true open competition and pathetic Cbs like Carr and Claiborne are not just given spots. Make those two earn their spot.

3) Players exercising self-discipline. No more sideline rants by anyone. Players shut up and let their play talk. Dez, you got paid now shut up and play, same with everyone. No one on this team has won anything and no one has any reason to be mouthing off to anyone. Be humble and stay out of trouble.

Offensive line dominates in all phases keeping Romo upright and giving Zeke holes.

Defense get take-aways.

Zeke is ROY, rushing leader, and a sticks mover with home run ability.

  1. fluid running game.
  2. two pass rushers stepping forward.
  3. a better passing game (that doesn't solely focus on Witten, Beasley and/or Dez)

1) Claiborne stepping up his game to the next level, not getting hurt in camp

2) Not losing any defensive linemen to injury early on

3) Would like to see Romo change his style to throwing ball away under pressure instead of extending plays to get a few yards and
taking big hits

I'd like more to see all this happen in the regular season as opposed to training camp

1. Crawford and Thornton can collapse the middle alllowing the DE speed to get to the QB. Dallas has small Des but they are fast.
2. Want to see Dez go in ready in shape to go all out instead of going half in and getting another nagging quad tweak that he gets every yr.
3. Romo being Romo not half Romo who doesnt have the zip on his throws
