Would love to see thoughts on Dallas FBs, Moose but also Robert Newhouse and Walt Garrison. Sometimes the old Cowboy greats get forgotten!

Edit: The only tough pick was honestly HB. Prime LT, AD, Barry, Jim Brown... just so many special backs out there.

I was hoping this would be the Cowboys all time offense.
Roger would be the QB, the rest would be interesting...

Left tackle: Jonathan Ogden.
Left guard: Larry Allen
Center: Jason Kelce
Right guard: Zack Martin
Right tackle: Jackie Slater
Wide receiver: Jerry Rice.
Wide receiver: Randy Moss
Tight end: Gronk
RB: Barry Sanders
RB: Emmitt Smith

When I go three-receiver set, Emmitt stays on the field and Terrell Owens replaces Sanders.

It's so funny to think that in the NFL this team goes winless in a season and in College they win a championship.

To me, that was their Best team. 0-2 and then destroyed the field. If Troy didn’t get concussed in the Championship, they may have put 50 on SF.

Agreed. If Jerry would have paid 22 before the start of the season, he doesn’t hold out and they probably start 2-0, not 0-2.

Since this is a DALLAS COWBOYS FORUM, thought you meant all-time Cowboys when I first read your post. That would have been much better on here, and way more interesting
It’s easy to pick the best Cowboys. I’ve been a fan for over 60 is Troy Polamalu in my opinion, the best safety ever and I hate Pittsburgh.

X WR Randy Moss
Z WR Jerry Rice
Slot Lance Alworth

TE Kellen Winslow Sr

RB Walter Payton
RB Gale Sayers

QB — my heart says Roger Staubach, but Joe Montana is hard to pass up here. Also, with that line Dan Marino would have all day to throw and no need to scramble. Tom Brady seems to be obvious here. But I might go with Patrick Mahomes because he can make any throw in the playbook. I did love Staubach’s ball fakes, the way he threw that TE screen to Billy Joe DuPree, his field leadership and rifle arm.

Walter Payton could block like a FB and Gale Sayers was elusive with blazing speed.
I just didn’t have room for sweetness

You left out Jacob Rogers.

Yea thought about him, Pat McQ and Petitti. But Alex Barron got the nod as being a vet and blowing week 1 vs Washington with his holding call that cost the win (2010)

I hate the Steelers too, but he was a great safety. I still think Lott was the best, and I hate the Niners more than the Steelers- LOL
