It's Saturday morning, almost 8:30 a.m., and the temporary crown my dentist put on just fell off. Barely touched it with my tongue, and there it went. My Dentist doesn't open until Monday at 7:30 a.m., while I'm working.

Bad Timing

I wondered about super glue. Used it plenty on cuts but I might need to see someone go first before I tried it on a tooth.
No, don't use it on a tooth. There's no undoing it if you don't get it right. My dental hygienist once told me it's very difficult even for them to remove the glue.

Yep, I would go easy. Super Glue might be the safer choice. If you go with the GG you may never be able to get that suckered off! Lol

Anything can be fixed with Bondo, Duct Tape, and a wire coat hanger.

BTW, this thread wasn't meant to get dental advice (Though, I genuinely appreciate the thought!)
It was meant for people to share their own incidents of bad timing.

Yeah, you don't want to change any part of the crown's structure underneath and residue would end up remaining even if they can remove it which might require having to get a new crown for it.

As annoying as it is, it's much better to wait for the dentist to fix it as soon as they can get to you.
