1. Henson emergency QB

2. Price, he'd be too unprepaired to be worth it.

3. Barber

4. Pile, see Price

5. Ratliff

6. Noll

7. Thornton

Possible, but I think he gets in and sees limited action.

Let him play special teams. If preseason is any indication, we need the help.

A week is nothing for a vet, PP plays. Pile maybe, you have a good point with him. A limited package would still put PP in a position to help us.

Parcells plays guys who practice. Fujita and Price would have to show up huge and no the system for him to play them. Price has said that this offense is unlike anyother hes played in. He does not play

Henson
Price
Fujita
Ratliff
Noll
Thornton
Fowler

He can't help on STs, he does not know the offense, and Parcells has no first hand knowledge of him as a player.

That adds up to not giving us the best chance to win.

Copper is returning kickoffs and is a gunner.

Crayton is returning punts.

We can't sit either of them, and we are not going to leave ourselves short at NT and LB to play a guy that can only run a go route this week.

1. henson
2. noll
3. barbers
4. thomas johnson
5. ratliff
6. b. thornton
7. nate jones

johnson and ratliff are shown at #3 on depth chart , i probably would only
leave one of thornton/jones off but Pile is the only other true safety we have.
and i would just as soon see what Peerless can do to help us . heck what do i know....the only reason i knew who to block was because the other team wore
different color jerseys.

BP put players in position to succeed. Bledsoe has previous knowledge of how he can help us in our system. To think, Morgan actually played one week after being traded without knowing much of our system. PP will play and Bledsoe will make sure he is up to speed. Keeping 5 WRs isn't the end of the world. PP can help us more than Thorton (6 Dbs) or Pepper(8 DL). We'll take from other positions to play PP.

Johnson will be active until Ferguson is in game shape.

I checked off Ratliff and Thornton.

The only other possibility is Fujita, who has an extra day on the roster and has been scouted all summer.

2002 was a long time ago, so the Bledsoe connection is moot.

Price in his PC said that this offense is like no offense he has ever been in.

We all want to see our new toy, but Parcells is more Grinch than Santa.:D

Pile and Fujita probably have too little experience with the team to work their way into the defensive lineup. While they are both good STers, we would be shorthanded if someone got injured at the positions they are backing up. They can make their debut next week.

Price should be able to learn enough of the offense to contribute as the speed guy at WR - he only needs to learn a handful of plays and he is an experienced vet.

1. Pile
2. Fujita
3. Henson
4. Noll
5. T Johnson
6. B Thornton
7. Barber

Its still hard for me to imagine that we only take 2 safties into a game, but I guess Reeves can spell in a pinch.

I can't figure who to not dress and thats a good problem. Here's what I come up with:
Barber
Noll
Pepper
Thorton

Barber
Noll
Pepper Johnson
Nate Jones

...

lol I just realized I have almost the same list as you. The next 3 will be tough for Parcells. He may opt to only take 7 OL (he's done it before). Maybe Ratliff will also sit. Also maybe one of the LBs (Fowler or Shanle).

We are not going into a game with 4 CBs, 2 safeties and without our best special teams playing LB.

Thornton is on IR.

Henson wouldn't count against the "7" inactive since he'll be the 8th inactive player.

We have two Thorntons, Kalen is on IR, Bruce probably was #53 on our roster.
